KUUDES AISTI FESTIVAL 27.-29.7.2012

Pääsiäisenä ilmestyi FB-virtaan tieto, että Salessa oli alennuksessa pääsisäismunia, joiden sisältä löytyy meksikolaisia Lucha Libre-vapaapainihahmoja. Koskaan ennen en ole kuullut, että pääsiäismunan sisällä olisi jotain oikeasti siistiä. Se ei jotenkin tunnu luonnolliselta konseptina. Sale oli toisessa kaupungissa, kaukana täältä meiltä. Elämä on joskus surullista. Onneksi kesällä tulee Kuudes Aisti, tuo musiikin yllätysmuna, jonka sisältä löytyy Acid Kings. Sitten vihdoin lakkaa harmittamasta.

Over Easter someone in my Facebook feed found chocolate eggs at a super market with Lucha Libre figures inside. I’d never heard of an Easter egg with something cool inside it before. The whole concept seems wonky. The super market was in another town, far away from where I live. Life is sad like that, sometimes. Luckily this summer we’ll have Kuudes Aisti, the musical chocolate egg, with the Acid Kings inside. Maybe then the hurt will finally stop.

Vanhaan aikaan hiilikaivoksissa käytettiin kanarianlintuja varoittimina. Jos lintu kuolla kupsahti, alkoi ilmassa olla sen verran haitallisia kaasuja, että ihmisten olisi paras suunnata pinnalle. Jotkut hahmot tekevät saman musiikin suhteen. Haistavat uudet kaasut ilmassa ennen muita. Kukaan ei vaan kuole eikä se tarkoita, että kenenkään täytyy paeta. Tyypit kuten Harvey vaan haistavat mistä hyvä meno tulee. Näiden kaasujen hengittäminen on kaikille hyväksi!
