1. Hei Kaasi, hienoa saada myös sut mukaan Summer Sound Festivaaliin!
K: Kiitos itsellenne kutsusta. Heinäkuun viimeistä viikonloppua olen odottanut koko kesän, kuten varmasti moni muukin tapahtumaan saapuva! :)

2. Miten on kesä mennyt, mitä oot puuhaillut viimeaikoina, onko ollut kiireitä?
K: Kesä on mennyt hieman rennommin kuin aikaisempina vuosina, sillä Kalajoella pyörittämäni kesäklubi Sunburn pitää kesälomaa tänä vuonna ja aikaa on jäänyt muille asioille. DJ-keikat on pitänyt minut kuitenkin kiireisenä koko kesän ja oikeaa kesälomaa pidetäänkin sitten loppuvuodesta.

3. Kuvaile hiukan itseäsi deejiinä ja ihmisenä?
K: Deejiinä oleminen on minulle elämäntapa, jota ilman olisin varmaan ihan eri ihminen? :) Minua on sanottu myös "tiskijukkien moniottelijaksi", sillä soitan tarvittaessa lähes mitä vain ja missä vain. DJ:nä nautin joka ikisestä soittokeikasta ja teen aina parhaani, että ihmisillä on ollut mahdollisimman hauska ilta tanssilattialla. Jos DJ:nä pidän äänekkäästä esilläolostani, niin muina aikoina hakeudun yleensä rauhallisempien asioiden pariin.

4. Kaikkien aikojen kesäbiisi?
K: Hyviä kesäisiä biisejä on paljon, mutta itselleni parhaat kesäfiilikset tuo "Spiller - Groovejet (If This Ain't Love)".

L: Mahtavaa olla mukana! Fillikset 110 tulevasta keikasta!

2. Mitä kuuluu, mitä oot puuhaillut viimeaikoina?
L: Superkiireisenä studiolla ja nauttinut kesäisistä keleistä! Mahtava vuosi ollut takana ja luulen että myös jatkuu samanlaisena. Oon saanut olla upeiden ihmisten kanssa tekemisissä ja viettänyt todella hauskoja hetkiä keikoilla ja niiden ulkopuolella.

3. Kuvaile itseäsi deejiinä ja ihmisinä?
L: Artistina yritän olla aina yllätyksellinen ja antaa yleisölle itsestäni kaiken, ihmisenä itsepäinen mutta mukava! :)

Robbie Rivera (Juicy Music)

1. Hi Robbie and welcome to Helsinki! Good to have you over here!
R: Thanks. It is my first time performing here, so I am excited.

2. You are coming from Miami. Can you tell us a little bit about what´s going on over there and how big the local house scene is?
R: Miami is a great city and the club scene is very big. All top DJ play every week in Miami, so house music is very important to the city. You should come and visit!

3. Your record label, Juicy Music, is hosting one of the sexiest parties at Miami during the Winter Music Conference/Miami Music Week each year. What's the story behind them?
R: [My wife and business partner] Monica and I wanted to do a beach event with the world's best DJs during Winter Music Conference, which was this year moved to what became known as Miami Music Week. The party is called JUICY BEACH, and we have done it for six years, now. Every year it gets better.

4. The gig of the year so far and why?
R: Pacha in Buenos Aires was amazing! The Argentinians love their DJs and house music. I had a great response to my Juicy sound.

1. Hei Tom Fall, hienoa saada sut mukaan Summer Sound Festivaaliin!
- Kiitos kiitos. Aivan mahtavaa olla mukana näin hienoilla festareilla!

2. Mitä kuuluu, mitä oot puuhaillut viimeaikoina?
- Tosi hyvää kuuluu. Studiossa on vietetty pitkiä päiviä uusia biisejä ja remixejä väsäillen.
Uutta soolo matskua on tulossa Armada:n 'Zouk' sekä 'Pilot 6' labeleilta lähiaikoina. Lisäksi remixejä 'Silk Royal' sekä 'Enhanced Recordings':ilta. Näiden lisäksi työn alla on yksi todella mukava pidemmän tähtäimen kollaboraato sekä oma pikku sivu-salaprojekti, joten paljon tavaraa luvassa ja laajalla rintamalla! :)

3. Kuvaile itseäsi deejiinä ja ihmisenä?
- Deejiinä olen yllätysrikas nostattaja, ihmisenä rento ja sopivasti hullu.

4. Kaikkien aikojen kesäbiisi?
- Tää on paha, kun näitä on niin monta mut päälimmäisenä tulee mieleen

1. Hi Roger, good to have you in Finland!
R: Hello Finland, looking forward to rock with you guys!

2. You and the dance music business go back a long way. Can you share some highlights of your career?
R: I have won a Grammy for my remix of No Doubt- Hella Good, had #1 in the Uk and top 10 europe with my song "Another Chance" and have an international radio show and events from Ibiza to London with Release Yourself

3. And why did it take such long time to get you over here in Finland, this being your first visit?
R: I was waiting for the right event, and that it's here, i just had to come!

4. You also manage Stealth Records, a true trade mark for quality house music. Are there any secrets to share on how you do that?
R: I always sign and make music that moves me and my dance floor. it's also important to be always listening out for new talent and encouraging it.

5. The best gig of the year so far and why?
R: Ministry Of Sound, London- Release Yourself on July 9th- it was my first RY there of the year and we had an amzing crowd and the full "Flashing Lights" installation that rocked

Kaskade

1. Hi Kaskade and welcome to Finland, great to have you join us!
K: Yes, thank you, glad to be here.

2. How is life? Tell us a little bit about what you have been working on lately.
K: I am just putting the finishing touches on my next full length artist album. It should be out near the end of summer.

3. You´ve worked with Deadmau5. How did you two hook up and was the working proces different from working on your own?
K: WE had some common friends so I just hit him up over instant messenger. Yes the work flow was different than what I am used to since I just finis things up myself. But this time I got to bounce ideas off of him and we sent files back an forth until we had something.

4. Can you tell us what has been your best gig this year and why?
K: Probably my gig on January 1st starting a new residency at the Marquee Club in Las Vegas. It was big because I was not sure how the club was going to turn out since it had only opened days before yet I had committed to 12 shows (once a month) over this year. But it has been an awesome run so far and I am happy I am there.

1. Hi Chicane good to have you joining us at the Summer Sound Festival
C: It's good to be playing there, as always!

2. How did it feel when you saw "Don´t Give Up" rising to UK´s No. 1? And how was it working with Bryan Adams?
C: It was great, I don't think you can expect these things to happen, but shock really. Working with Bryan is always interesting, we actually have done a couple of things other than Don't Give Up.

3. What have you been up to lately and what are your future plans?
C: I've been locked in the studio preparing the new album and consequently I'm looking forward to the next week of shows.

4. What is your personal favorite from among your own tracks?
C: Offshore

C: Manila - madness, loved the atmosphere over there!
