This AMS-designed hyper-yacht is 282 feet [86m] in length with a 48 foot [14.6m] beam and at half-load displaces 1.28 million pounds [579000 kg]. Operating at a continuous speed of 80-knots the range is 3150 nautical miles on 211000 gallons [799000 litres] of fuel with a 10% reserve.
The hull is a stepped, air-lubricated deep-V monohedron form constructed of welded marine alloy with hybrid superstructure elements including materials reinforced with aramid and carbon fiber. Power is provided by a pair of primary marine gas turbines for operation above planing speeds and a pair of secondary marine gas turbines for operation at loitering and maneuvering speeds. The primary power units are nominally rated at 56000 shp [42000 kW] each and the secondary power units at 4000 shp [3000 kW] each. Propulsion is via two fixed-geometry surface drive units with 7-blade controllable-pitch propellers driven through a combining gearbox system. Vessel positioning is by dual, retractable bow and stern hydraulically-actuated thrusters.
The main saloon is 102 feet [31m] in length and features a working fireplace at the forward end and plenty of bulkhead surface between the gas turbine air/exhaust trunks for displaying artwork. The dining room is located just forward of the main saloon with seating for up to 12 persons. Up one deck, the skylounge is full-beam with large curved-glass side windows.
There are luxury accommodations for the owner and up to eight guests. The owner's suite is full-beam on the main deck forward and features his and hers baths, private exercise room, office, sauna and walk-in closets. Four double guest cabins are located one deck below the main deck and are easily accessed via the forward electric lift. The skylounge and observation decks are accessed via the aft electric lift.
Vehicles carried aboard allow travel on land, sea, air and underwater. Included are: (1) MD Explorer NOTAR twin turbine 8-passenger helicopter, (1) 52 foot [15.8m] 130-knot raceboat, (1) 47 foot [14.3m] 90-knot twin turbine sportboat, (2) 22 foot [6.7m] diesel/jet rigid-bottom inflatables, (8) Sea Doo personal jet watercraft, (1) 3-person submersible exploration craft, (2) ROV submersibles, (2) HUMMER full-size FWD luxury sport utility vehicles and (2) Harley-Davidson FLSTF Fat Boy motorcycles.
