WHAT A BIRTHDAY.... WHAT A NIGHT !!!
Liquid Crystal Sounds would like to thank each and every person who came along to Klubi and support the LCS 'XPANSION' 4th BIRTHDAY event. What a great event we had with so many fantastic tunes / memories! With a little over thirty LCS events under our belt, ‘Xpansion’ in particular was one of the finest to date. The tune selections were absolutely flawless from the very first track at 21.00 to the 'encore' at 03.35. Tune after tune after tune...
ALI KING set the night on fire with some beautiful rolling Deep House. With plenty of lush melodies and heart punching bass lines, Klubi had an early treat! PROGRESSION was second in command on the decks delivering a set laced with House & Progressive and a few Old Skool re-works for good measure! With the dance floor filling up and the tempo slowly climbing, the stage was set for our Irish progressive headliner SEAN MARX!
SEAN began his 2-hour set at midnight. Being a keen user of Ableton he opted to go down the laptop LIVE route. With a whole array of samples, loops, re-edits, his own productions and other personal favourites, the set was one of the most exciting to be heard at an LCS event. Deep, House, Progressive, Techno and Trance all carefully merged into a 120 minute seamless mix! Superb!
Finishing off the night was LCS resident HOMEGROVE with a 90 minute set jam-packed with oldies! From Qattara to Quivver, Lazonby to Lustral: These were just a sprinkling of the timeless tracks that found there way bouncing from Klubi’s speakers! For those who remembered it was ear candy from beginning to end! The tunes that have certainly been and gone… but will never be forgotton!
SEAN MARX, HOMEGROVE, PROGRESSION & ALI KING: You absolutely rocked the house!
With yet another successful LCS in the bag, there's little more to say than a huge thank you to ALL who have helped and supported our events along this remarkable 4 YEAR journey in Finland. As a team we have seen a different yet positive perspective of Finnish clubbing. We are certainly looking forward to many many more years to come for LCS!
After a pretty grueling weekend, we'll be having a little break before getting back to the drawing board. We'll be returning with a bang in 2011... So keep it locked... and keep up the great support!

Kiitos LCS munki puolesta! Loisto bileet, mahtavassa seurassa! Mesta näytti hienolta ja saatiin jengin jalkoihinkin liikettä puolenyön jälkeen! 
LCS:n pojilta mukavaa saundia, mitä ehdin kuulemaan. Sean Marx heitti mukavan letkeetä progehousea ja Hannu täräytti todella kultasen tranasetin!

Kiitoksia omasta puolesta kaikille jotka pääsivät paikalle, tietysti LCS:n pojille ja Anskulle todella hyvästä synttärikakusta. 4 vuotta takana ja toivottavasti vielä monta edessä.
Musiikki oli taas koko illan timangia; teknoa, deep housea, progressiivisempaa housea ja päräyttävä klasari-trance-setti vielä loppuun. Savua ja menoa riitti!

Oli mielettömän hyvät setit, varsinkin Homegrovelta. Mulle tuli ihan Tukholman Docklandsin muistot mieleen niistä vanhoista biiseistä mitä soitettiin.
Oikein hienoa että Gavin ja Ali jaksaa vetää tätä projektia vuodesta toiseen. Mielestäni LCS on yksi Turun merkittävimmistä klubeista ja varmasti tulee olemaan jatkossakin kunhan ihmiset jaksaisivat tulla.

Due to unforeseen circumstances the recording had some problematic issues and had to be discarded. HOMEGROVE has re-recorded the first hour once again to make sure that those who missed out, won't miss out again ;)
