"On Friday, November 4th 2006, the "Liquid Crystal Sounds" clubbing concept was born. Established by DJ's Progression from London and Ali King from Belfast, LCS was, and still is, Finland's only British run electronic music organisation.
LCS fills a niche audio experience by offering a different perspective of music and perceptions from our UK backgrounds. Over the past 48 months we’ve held 32 events across numerous major Finnish cities. The brand has risen from strength to strength and has firmly carved itself into a trademark nighterie respected by clubbers!
To celebrate our achievements, LCS proudly presents "XPANSION". This full-on 4th BIRTHDAY spectacular will be loaded with frontline tunes, Birthday cake, punch, promotional giveaways, and of course, one hell of a 'Happy Birthday' atmosphere!!
DJ-PRODUCER 'SEAN MARX' will be jetting to Finland from DUBLIN, IRELAND to headline our XPANSION event! With 10 years behind the turntables, Sean has certainly confirmed his rising popularity with an ever impressive list of gigs across Europe as well as holding down several club residencies in Dublin. Further to this, Sean has released over 20 tracks on numerous world class labels including PAUL OAKENFOLD’S “PERFECTO RECORDINGS”. With a barrage of support coming from DJ heavyweights MARKUS SCHULZ, ARMIN VAN BUUREN, ABOVE & BEYOND, PAUL VAN DYK and TIËSTO, it’s no wonder this talented Irishman has made an impression in the progressive scene!
Support comes from DJ HOMEGROVE who will be brushing aside his regular sound and offering a rare treat of classics that seriously up the tempo! Expect something different... something full of Old Skool smiles! LCS residents PROGRESSION and ALI KING will be setting the standard from the very start with some aggressive progressive!
