Since being founded in 1995, Elektrolux, last but not least thanks to its TV platforms "Space Night" and"Flowmotion", has always been a downright visuallabel. One of the most important Flowmotion artists, Frank Rückert aka üNN, centers the "Strom" project by which Elektrolux dares an innovative bridging with room designing New Media even stronger than before. In the course of a student project of the Technical University Darmstadt, the skilled computer scientist Frank Rückert, inherent part of the international Techno Club scene also because of his VJ work for Sven Vaeth, Pascal FEOS, DJ Hell or Monika Kruse, has chosen eight tracks from his previously released

About Flowmotion Visuals &Music:

Artistic control of the project belongs to the Frankfurt based Elektrolux label, which has already set new standards in audio-visual tv entertainment with the much acclaimed Space Night series on BR, another german tv imprint.

Musically, flowmotion incorporates excerpts from the worlds of Downbeat, Ambient, Electronica, Listening and Chill Out. Together with the visuals ranging from artist videos to all kinds of experimental material this concept sets new standards in sound and vision.


Although the genres of contemporary electronic music mentioned above feature many good labels and talented artists working on the sound for a better millennium, the majority of them doesn` t usually get tv airplay. Due to the strategy of focusing on more mainstream orientated material, even pure music channels like MTV don`t invest that much time in the subject.

flowmotion is designed to create opportunities for innovation besides the usual tv approach and acts as an open platform for labels, producers and video artists.


flowmotion is the blueprint for the broad audio visual spectrum of the concept in sound and picture.

ueNN is the solo project of Frank Rueckert, also known as one half of Rauschfaktor. Frank started to develop a deeper interest in music at the age of 11 or 12, being bored and irritated by the stuff which was emanating from his sister's bedroom (Abba, The Sweet, The Bay City Rollers and all that). „The first time that I heard bands like Human League, Kraftwerk and Depeche Mode I was fascinated by their electronic sound." As an early ‚Space Invaders' junkie he soon discovered the sound chip in his home computer. A few years later he got his first synthesizer and started to produce own tracks. After some techno/industrial-releases as 'Tribantura' in the early 90s, it was his solo project ueNN that definitely put him on the map of electronic music. Focusing on ambient sounds, chill out stuff, electro and experimental music he soon gained a great reputation with his trademark ‚autobiographical' sound. Frank Rueckert is a musical storyteller who loves to work on his tracks in a spontaneous way. „I'm improvising a lot and often the best songs arise unexpectedly and surprisingly. The songs that are brought to life in those ‚precious moments' are definitely the best!" His two highly acclaimed ueNN albums on Elektrolux covered a wide range of musical emotions. ‚Delay' was darker and more melancholic, while the floow up „Relief" felt more optimistic and uplifting. Besides his work with ueNN and Rauschfaktor Frank has also performed as a VJ and produced several video clips that are constantly featured on the legendary tv program ‚Flowmotion'.
