Sean Tyas on tämän hetken kuumimpia nimiä koko maailmassa. Hänen tuotantolistansa on todella vaikuttava: Lift on ollut tämän vuoden suurin trancehitti ympäri maailmaa, jonka lisäksi hän on uransa aikana remiksannut mm. Mobya. Sean onkin luonut oman suoraviivaisen, jopa hardtranceen asti ulottuvan tyylinsä, jota tällä hetkellä monet muut tuottajat jäljittelevät. Gravelilta tullaan kuulemaan ehkä hieman hänen normaalista soundistaan progressiivisempaa materiaalia tällä kertaa, mutta tanssilattia ei varmasti jää kylmäksi ensibiiteistä lähtien!

Prophetic words indeed. As 2006 progresses, the name Sean Tyas is a buzz word in trance circles. And with good reason too. He's one of the most talked about DJ / producers of the moment, not just from trance fans on message boards and budding DJs in record stores, but also in the highest echelons of the trance elite, with Tiësto, Paul van Dyk, Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Judge Jules, Eddie Halliwell, Sander van Doorn and Above & Beyond all giving his productions massive playlist support.

A New York native now residing in Switzerland, Sean Tyas' productions bring to the dancefloor a mix of melodic harmony and driving groove that have captured the imagination of the trance community. Support for the Tyas sound is gathering at a frightening pace with his name appearing like a rash over the playlists of every major trance DJ on the planet throughout 2006.

Far from being an overnight success story, Sean notched up several high profile remixes between 2002 and 2005 such as Moby 'In This World / In My Heart' on Arista, PPK 'Resurrection' on Tommy Boy and Christina Milian 'Dip It Low' on Island / Def Jam. He then took time out to perfect his own sound, and it has certainly paid dividends.

Sean was recently signed up by John Askew's Discover label, an imprint widely recognised as having its finger firmly on the pulse of all things good in cutting edge trance. His debut on the label in March was a remix of Aled Mann 'Cold Fusion' that was hammered by DJs such as Eddie Halliwell and ATB and signed onto the Trance Republic 2 compilation CD. His first solo release for the label 'Lift' looks set to be one of THE trance anthems of 2005, awarded Single Of The Week on Armin van Buuren's A State Of Trance show and gaining heavy playlist support from Paul van Dyk, Tiësto, Judge Jules, and a host of A list names, as well as featuring on the Cream Ibiza CD mixed by Eddie Halliwell.

Needless to say that demand for Sean Tyas DJ sets has soared on the back of his production success, with forthcoming dates in Germany, Italy, Sweden, Turkey, Norway, Poland and Switzerland, the prestigious Gallery at Turnmills, Goodgreef, Passion, Inside Out and Slide / Garlands in the UK, plus dates filling up on November tour of USA and Canada, including super-clubs Spundae, 1015 and the massive Dooms Night. As the big tunes roll out, so the dates roll in…

And speaking of big tunes, Sean has been busy putting the finishing touches to a host of new singles and remixes for big labels that have had DJs clamouring for upfront copies. Current / forthcoming releases include Sean Tyas 'Mirella' on Afterglow, Isigma 'Open Your Eyes' (Sean Tyas remix) on ATCR, Beam 'On Your Mind' (Sean Tyas remix) on Beam Traxx, Dunderstadt 'Muhanjala' (Sean Tyas remix) on Afterglow, plus a remix of Legend B ‘Lost In Love’ on the way.
