SCOPE is Northern Irish based DJ & Producer Ric McClelland. Inspired by the "proper" House sound of New York & Chicago and artists such as Kerri Chandler & Lars Sandberg (Funk D'void / Francois Dubois), his sound as Scope is clearly focused on grooves & melody.
Scope's arrival on the global House scene was marked early last year with his debut "Strung Out" ep on Urbantorque, which received massive support across the board. With plays from Fish Go Deep to Eric Prydz, Jimpster to Deep Dish.
Now a regular feature on the urbantorque release schedule, he has remixed many of his contemporaries including Francois Dubois & Milton Jackson. With releases just out on Plastic City Helvetica & Glideslope and forth coming on NRK & Large Music, plus a unique album project just finished and due on Urbantorque around June, everything is shaping up nicely!
