As the summer sun begins to set and autumn lingers around the corner, Liquid Crystal Sounds swiftly brings another session of our underground sound! It's been a long break off for LCS after June 9th! Last time we saw the Horizons lifted as summer began with DJ's Mark Kinnier, Homegrove and Nescio spinning their finest progressive beats!
For part 5 of our ongoing saga, Liquid Crystal Sounds proudly present "Transitions". A time of seasonal change within the year and a time to unleash some fresh full-on pumping House, Electro and Progressive sounds to bring a smile to every clubbers face! Helsinki based DJ/Producer OlliS alongside a seriously upcoming talent DJ Flight join Ali Catin and myself, Progression to rip it up and bring a final summer touch to 2007! We invite you all to savour the sound of the undergorund!

"Growing in a very musical family and being predisposed to various kinds of music since a little boy has probably been the key factor for making OlliS the DJ he is today. With over ten years of playing the piano and studying the theory of music, OlliS has educated himself and developed the ability to create something memorable and musically touching whenever performing as a DJ.
Today OlliS has stabilized his place in the Finnish clubbing scene as the leading progressive house DJ and a rising star in the Baltic and Eastern European countries. Alongside his busy DJ'ing timetable, OlliS runs a bi-weekly radio show on the Finnish national radio station 'YleX'. He also holds a monthly residency at Frisky Radio with a successful show Aurea Mediocritas.
Production wise, Miika Kuisma & OlliS have been producing together for over a year now and their first single "Awakening" was released on Baroque Recordings during March 2007. Awakening has already been credited and supported by Armin Van Buuren, Markus Schulz, Noel Sanger and Solar Stone to name just a few. Their new single "Take Another Look" has just been released on Subtraxx and is receiving even more attention from the top jocks all over the world.
OlliS represents a new generation of progressive house music. A style that is built on strong basslines, epic melodies and groovy rhythm. His DJ sets are eclective journeys of electronic music combining old and new styles, always giving the crowd an unforgettable musical journey."

He first started playing records in 2002 but just 4 years later Flight has gained huge respect among finnish clubbers with his outstanding live sets and online mixes! Flight combines his excellent mixing skills with solid track selections. Known for playing a unique blend of house and techno Flight finally made himself stand out from the crowd in 2006 with a residency at Madwave, Romance club nights in Tampere and an evergrowing gig list with clubs calling his name from Helsinki to Rovaniemi. Born in London, Progression's connectivity with electronic music began in the late 80's. In 1994, at just 14yrs old, his DJ career kicked off with the purchase of turntables! He became the instigator of organising illegal parties for many years until in 1998 the big break came. Progression launched two club nights in West London. He became a 5-year resident Hauling in the droves and played alongside DJ legends such as Tall Paul, Scott Bond, Jean-Jaques Smoothie and Timmy Deluxe. A move to Finland came in 2003 with his DJ career continuing in cities such as Helsinki, Turku and Tampere. Now 26 yrs old, Progression co-runs his own underground club night 'Liquid Crystal Sounds' where he plays alongside some of finest UK and Finnish DJs. His sets consisting of Trance, Electro and Uplifting Progressive, with his musicizm concentrating on driving basslines and deeper expressive atmospheric breakdowns. One DJ who never goes unnoticed!

"Alistairs (aka Ali Catin) early musical experiences were tied with instruments such as the Trumpet, Classical Guitar & Piano. During the late 90's Ali threw his rhythmic talents into DJing. As Belfasts clubbing scene expanded, Ali found himself playing with both local and international DJ talents including Mark Kinnier (Futura), Gareth Hogan/Terry Keely (http://www.shine.net) and Marc Kirkbride (Protocol, Perpetual). Now Spinning in Finland, Ali has made his mark! DJs like Sasha F, Alex Kunnari, D.N.A., Steven Hoaks, Oxid and Nemes have all played with this Belfast talent. Expect his sets to be anything from Chilled to Deep-Techy Progressive through to tough Drivin down n dirty Techno. His set says it all."
