GIORGIO GIGLI
Co-owner of Zooloft Records and a producer who has been releasing on labels such as Prologue, Elettronica Romana and Dumb Unit, Giorgio Gigli is part of a wave of Italian artists who have emerged into the scene in high praise during the last five years with a distinct brand of hypnotic and mindbending techno. Giorgio's music can best be described as intense and extremely personal, using unusual frequencies, drones, beats & abstract melodies to create sophisticated and hypnotic rhythms, resulting in a deep and elegant form of techno with a strong minimalist imprint. As a DJ, Giorgio plays music from ultra deep ambient-influenced sounds through to intense rhythmic techno, and like his productions his DJ sets contain strong hypnotic vibes and atmospheres so expect the rhythm to take you where time and space no longer matter.

Hauskuutusastetta tässä hieman lisää se, että Gigli jää mestoille viettämään vappuaattoa, joten oikeanlainen Suomi-kuva on taattu. "Hey, Giorgio. Let's go to Espa and chill out for a bit or then maybe we should have a small picnic at this nice little park by the sea, Kaivopuisto. It's beautiful this time of year." LOL.

Jospa vain pystyisi multiploitumaan, niin voisi olla Bassmentin avajaisissa ja täällä samaan aikaan... Nyt täytyy tulla mestoille vähän myöhemmin, jotta ehtii poiketa Bassmentissa. Mitenkäs, onko näihin tapahtumiin yleensä kova jono? Ennen puoltayötä ajattelin Kutoselle tulla.

Isot kiitokset kaikille mukana olleille. Ihmisiä olisi voinut olla hieman enemmänkin mutta ilmeisesti tämä oli hieman hankala ilta tuon vapun takia muutenkin. Joka tapauksessa ihmiset jotka olivat paikalle ilmestyneet näyttivät viihtyvän tansilattialla. Giorgiokin oli mehuissaan niin Kutosen illasta kuin Helsingistä muutenkin. Katsotaan mitä sauraavaksi kerraksi saadaan aikaan. Jes!

Oli kyllä todella hyvä groove koko illan. Kustin setti meni aika lailla ohi, koska olin ensin Bassmentin avajaisissa, mutta Kemppi ja Gigli sitten pitivät huolen tanssijalan vipattamisesta. Giglin setin lopussa oli aika kiihkeät tunnelmat tanssilattialla, joten melko dirty teknoa siis tuli (juuri kuten pitääkin).
Eka DSH-tapahtuma missä on tullut käytyä, ja tulen takuulla toistekin! On parhautta päästä käymään näin laadukkaasti toteutetuissa klubi-illoissa.
