Coki Biography
Coki is one part of Digital Mystikz, a dubstep production duo '96 the other half being Mala '96 from the South London suburb of Norwood. Coki's renowned for his backseat low profile persona and his wielding of massive bassiness. Along with Loefah, Coki and Mala operate the DMZ record label and host the influential bimonthly nightclub DMZ, held at the Mass club complex in Brixton, London. Their song "Anti War Dub" appeared in the 2006 film "Children of Men," although it wasn't included in the soundtrack.
Chef Biography
One of the pioneering DJs of Dubstep, 23 years young Chefal aka Chef, hails from the home of Dubstep, Croydon, South London, and has been mixing for 13 years.
Chefal pushing some fresh producers including L.D, Mr P, Clue Kid n Cotti (4n4mat), Dcoy, Reptile, Point, 15's, Aggro, Pinch, Conquest and Zomby. Chef had been show surfing on a lot of the best and worst pirates, south of the river for more than 7 years until he found his home at Rinse Fm early 2004.
He is a resident at the two pioneering Dubstep nights in London - DMZ and FWD - and other events such as Subloaded, Skull Disco, SubDub, Dirty Canvas, Cor Blimey, D.O.T.S, Dubpressure, Renegade Hardware and Breakin Science pushing the Dubstep sound. Chefal is also a resident at club nights outside of the UK including Slam It! which is a bi-monthly event in Helsinki, Finland and also Voodoo People in Amsterdam and All Out Dubstep in Sweden.
