FAR TOO LOUD (Funkatech, UK)
KIWA (High Grade, Exogenic)
GENKI (Stealth Unit, Exogenic)
BIG MISTAKE (Broken Robot, Exogenic)
MARK NOMEN (High Grade., Exogenic)
MAMOOSHKA (One Foot Groove, Hypergate)

Club ZeroZeron ensimmäisten bileiden pääesiintyjänä tullaan näkemään yksi tämän hetken kovimmista vaihotehtoisen tanssimusiikin tuottajista Oli Cash aka FAR TOO LOUD. Kyseinen brittituottaja on luonut itselleen nimeä poikkeuksellisen laadukkaan tuotantonsa ansiosta sekä ennen kaikkea takuuvarmojen tanssilattiajyrien luojana.

Vaikka Oli Cash ponnistaakin breakbeat genrestä on jokaiselle hänen musiikkiaan kuulleelle selvää, että kyse on aivan uudesta tyylistä. FTL on viimeisen neljän vuoden aikana lyönyt ennätyksiä Beatportissa, remixannut mm. Lily Allenia, keikkaillut aktiivisesti kaikilla mantereilla ja isoimmilla festareilla eikä suotta - tule itse todistamaan elektron ja breakbeatin läskein fuusio ja ihmettelemään, kuinka lujaa PA potkii sinua nivusiin!

FAR TOO LOUD (Funkatech Records, UK)
FTL_press_3.jpg

Far Too Loud, a.k.a. Oli Cash, has gained a significant reputation in dance music for quality, dancefloor-destroying production. Originally rooted in breakbeat, the FTL sound was quickly recognized as being something different through the influence of other styles of dance music. Over the past four years the sound has developed and diversified but maintained the mix of hard-hitting beats, dirty bass lines, detailed production and twisted sound design that has set FTL apart from the rest. This is evident from the full-on tech-breaks monster “Get High”, which was awarded Best Single at Breakspoll 2007, to the electro mix of Lily Allen’s “Not Fair”, which was liked so much that it became part of Lily’s live show and another remix was subsequently commissioned.
Signed to the award-winning Funkatech records, Far Too Loud has released a string of singles and remixes that have found their way into the record bags of numerous top DJs, playlists of top radio stations and tune-of-the-month slots in major dance music publications. These include two E.P. series, “Louder Than Life” and “Music For Machines”, and the huge-selling tracks “Play It Loud” and “You Know The Sound”, which both received “Best Track” nominations in the Beatport Music Awards.
The recognition received through these releases has seen Far Too Loud playing in clubs all over the world, as well as regular appearances in native UK. The FTL vibe has been a winner particularly at festivals and rocked crowds at Glastonbury, Glade, Boom and many more. 2008 saw the debut of a live laptop-based set of all-original material, mixing up classic FTL tracks with new beats and crazy effects into a peak-time dancefloor experience.
2010 has seen Far Too Loud grow even more with extensive live and DJ touring throughout the year and the release of his biggest selling track to date, “Bring Back Boogie” in collaboration with Alex Mind. A ‘re-fix’ series of free downloads has also seen Far Too Loud appear on numerous music blogs this year too. With the diary full until well into 2011, there is plenty more to look forward to!

Toni Eronen alias Big Mistake is better known as a member of the Finnish hard dance group Carbon Based. Toni is one of pioneering artists of Finnish electronic music. His long history in music production dates back to the early 90s, when he joined Carbon Based. Toni’s interest towards other genres of dance music made him found his solo project Big Mistake, which, as a counterbalance to hard dance, focuses on more experimental styles like psy breaks, breaks, tech funk, techno, chill, electro, electro house, trip hop and progressive house.

Kiwa are Markku Louhio (Mark Nomen) and Matti elsinen (DJ Mauzer), an electronic music live act & DJ duo from Finland. Started out as a psychedelic trance project in 1995 they soon made a name for themselves playing in underground raves and forest parties. Since then the sound of Kiwa has grown into a punchy mix of dancefloor electro and breaks. Their music has influences among other styles from tech funk, house and drum 'n' bass with it's driving funky rhythms, rough basslines and epic movie score moments. Since 2002 Kiwa has toured on live and DJ gigs around the world from Brazil to Israel and from Russia to Western Europe. Kiwa's live setup consists of two synchronized laptops, keyboards, controllers and loads of samples and audio channels by which they build their energetic performances on.

Markku and Matti have worked with many different projects in genres ranging from hip hop to rock, including compositions and sound production for the Finnish television and movie industry. They have released their music on labels such as Ministry Of Sound (UK), Digital Structures (SWE), Liquid Sound Design (Dragonfly Records, UK), Atomic Reactor (UK), Bombtraxx Records (US) and Funkatech Records (UK) to name a few. Their recent remix works for Dead Famous Records (UK), Ground Level (UK) and Tribal Vision Records (CZ) include remixes for established artists like Jaia and Far Too Loud. In 2007, their progressive album 'On The Frequency' received 4 out of 5 stars in DJ MAG, reviewed by John -00- Fleming. Not to mention, the following album Markku was producing at the time, Highpersonic Whomen's 'Push The Limit', received 5 out of 5.
In 2009 Kiwa's hit single 'Drop Control' dominated the Beatport Top 100 breaks chart as #1 for 3 weeks. Being one of the best selling breaks tunes of 2009, the single was nominated in the Beatport Top 10 chart of hottest breaks track that year alongside with artists like Plump DJ's, Fatboy Slim and NAPT. Markku is also known for his previous breakbeat project Headphonics and has built a good name for himself as an on-demand remix artist and a mastering engineer. Kiwa is currently busy creating new tunes and remixes for your pleasure. Stay tuned, more to come!

Asiaa!

Jannujen live Konemetsässä '09 oli ihan käsittämättömän hyvän kuulosta ja blendailtu yhteen ihan uskomattoman kompleksisilla tavoilla. Suosittelen, jos yhtää breiksi lämmittää.
