NEXTACE [Alienation, Oulu]
NextAce has always loved psy and goa trance. His DJ career started in 2003 and the genre was freeform and hardtrance.
Few years later music style turned from hard-dance to psytrance. After that he played all around Finland in different parties, mostly small and ungerground gigs. Now He is a resident of psychedelic trance club called Alienation. He plays mostly melodic full-on or darkpsy, but also he plays progressive and goa tunes.
ASCIDE5 [2channels, Kokkola]
Ascide5 was introduced to electronic music by his cousin, in 1996. He observed as his cousin was creating patterns with a fast tracker. This was the beginning for everything he's working on today.
The year 1998 was he begun to work as a DJ and a promoter. Styles like french filter house and hard swedish / british techno were tools used in his sets. Later on he emphasized on hard techno, the sound stabilized to monotonic and percussive tracks.
In 2002-2004, he pulled back from the scene and automatically started processing for a more personal sound and style. Bumpin' Us house / deephouse beats took a bigger place and the most important things he wanted to bring was the soul of black rhythms and a funky hook into his music.
Nowadays he's sets are built up from from Us house, techhouse, psytech, kickin' techno or detroit.
