1. Glenn Morrison: Symptoms Of A Stranger (Henry Saiz Remix)
Henry Saiz gives us another truly epic piece of progressive house. This reminds me a lot of the classic Sasha & Digweed stuff from late 90s. Super epic and melodic without a slightest hint of cheese. Saiz has been been THE new producer of the past couple years in my opinion.

2. Way Out West: Surrender (Eelke Kleijn Remix)
This is IMHO Eelke Klein's best production so far. Really taking WOW's nice original and taking into different level. Also heavy "old school Sasha & Digweed / Renaissance" vibe here. I could easily imagine this on a Dave Seaman GU compilation too. Hypnotic, melodic, driving, progressive trance... The vocal is super catchy and has been going in my head for weeks now.

3. Robert Babicz: Dark Flower (Fever Mix)
This has been around for a while and was been on the "shortlist" for Radio Unity couple months already but I just could find a good slot to fit it in the mix. These mixes are not just collections of best tracks from the past couple weeks thrown together but I rather try to build a one hour harmonic musical story out of the tracks where tempos and harmonic keys also play important role. That's why some really good tracks don't ever find their way to the mixes or some tracks come some time after the initial release. This is a very nice new take on the Babicz's anthemix track from couple years back. I'm still playing the Joris Voorn remix and this is kinda close to that but yet with a more housey and summery touch.

4. Mark Knight & Funkagenda: Antidote (Original Club Mix)
It's nice to see minimalistic old school trance influences hitting the "Beatport mainstream" big time this year with tracks like this and Cirez D's 'Glow' being played by house, prog and even techno DJs. This is nice example how you can build a massive track from such small incredients. I guess Mark & Funkagenda were digging trance too in their early days... ;)

5. Allende: Tricky Waters (Retrospective Mix)
Allende is probably holding the title of "Most Played Producer in Radio Unity" and with tracks like this I'm more than happy to keep on supporting his music. 'Tricky Waters' has all the elements of a great Allende production: groovy and rolling bassline, simple yet catchy melody, spot on production, emotional chord progression and superb atmosphere from the beginning to the end. And I'm not saying this only because he is a fellow finn;)

6. Sasha & Emerson: Scorchio (Pulser's Naughty Remix)
I used to play the original and especially the Sander Kleinenberg remix of this a lot back in 2000. This is a proper Unity classic in Helsinki. It's good to see Pulser being more active with production again and this remix is definitely one of his finest. Not sure if there's any official release coming but now when DeConstruction (Sasha's label back then) has been resurrected you never know. DeConstruction's back catalogue is such that there are quite a few tracks worth remixing...

7. Alex MORPH: Purple Audio (DJ Orkidea's Buenos Aires Breakz mix)
Alex contacted me last year to remix his album title track into breakbeat trance track ala 'Metaverse'. I was of course honored and up for it. The remix has been finished over a year but they've been asking to hold from playing to have it fresh when Purple Audio remix album is out. The remix title was inspired by my trip to beautiful city of Buenos Aires (and Pacha club) last year. Greetings, love and respect to anyone from BA if they're reading!

8. Andy Moor: She Moves
Andy always delivers:) Great simple groove in this one and the vocal is also nice very much thanks to the tricks and treatments in it making it less poppy. Production is of course world class but I guess that's nothing new with Mr. Moor's tracks. Btw, I have a very early two minute demo from this and it's always nice to see how track evolve from simple rough sketches into finished tracks.

9. Protoculture: 1998
And something more pumping to the end Binary Finary's classic track '1998' is one of THE trance abthems and classics of all time and also one of the more remixed ones. Protoculture turns perhaps the best remix since PvD's classic remix. Heavily building on top of the original version yet giving it a proper full on psy-trance twist which makes it refreshing. An anthem.

On kyllä hullun hieno remix. Olin aika pettynyt pariin muuhun Saizin viimeaikaiseen juttuun älyttömän komean viime vuotisen WOW-remixin jälkeen mutta tässä on taas sitä jotain.

Are you an angel? Never heard of angels before. They are the most beautiful creatures in the universe. You must be one, maybe you just don`t know it.

Täytyy yhtyä tähän kommentiin, eli aivan loistava remix Henryltä :) ja Myös Eelcon remixi Way out westistä toimii mainiosti!

Täytyypi odotella huomista ahjoa josko Tapsa yllättäisi näillä kipaleilla! WINK WINK
