" Rune Refling can be without a shadow of a doubt listed as one of the Scandinavia's most experienced and top dj's. He started collecting records back 1975 as a 10 year old kid. Since then his interest has been on finding the most rare and eclectic soul, disco and house records. Now after two decades as being one of the most profilic dj's in Oslo, his collection of about 15,000 records must be among the Scandinavia's most valuable vinyl collections. In his sets you can hear the rare and underground soul and disco sound, that most the dj's are in search for. His sets are always more than you would expect from a dj. Rune has been influenced by the idea that a club night should provide the guests something much more... like a detailed journey through atmospheres, which makes the crowd really turn their heads and end up smiling for many days after.
During his long career, he's done international tours throughout Europe, including London, Paris and the balearic beach clubs of Spain. He has dj'd alongside such names as Laurent Garnier, Dimitri from Paris, Sven Väth, Nicky Holloway, Derrick May, Jazzy M, Boy George, Stephane Pompougnac, Ian Pooley, Dorfmeister and list goes on... In his homebase, Oslo, he has been a resident dj in Kristiania, Buddha Bar, The Cosmopolitan, Neon, La Belle Sole and Cosmo, among others. He has also created succesful concepts for numerous fashion shops and shows, and his six editions of "Fashionpack by Voga" mix compilations has become a famous saga of rare lounge, romatic disco and exotic beats. After his success in clubs and fashion projects, he is now usually the man dj'ing in the big store openings, brand marketing events and other special parties in the business.
