"Madwave on air" started its broadcasts in early 2003 on radio Moreeni in Tampere. 2 hour slot was hosted by Madwave main resident Sergei Shkuroff and Manse's edm hero drS. Show quickly has gained wide recognition as only dance music related local radio show in Finland's second biggest city. "Madwave on air" always featured interesting exclusive guest mixes from different genres, club gossip and some evergreen classics from early days of clubbing culture. Show has been broadcasted till late 2006, when it spreaded its wings over the internet , doing weekly Friday prime time spots on infamous Canadian Tracklists.ca and UK Example FM. New residents Kisel & Fishbox stepped in for internet era in 2007, keeping the vibe alive, while old dog Sergei Shkuroff has retired for long well deserved break.. At least he thought he was...

Spring 2008 however brought some new mad ideas and inspiration waved in for some fresh projects. So, Sergei joined forces with capital region's major radio station Sputnik 106.9 FM and its dance music ambassador DJ ZooM for a successful return of Madwave on air. In June boys, backed up by all-new Madwave club team of Northern house prodigy San Mejor and hard dance veteran Meke have got an exclusive prime time slot, covering Helsinki area and most of Southern Finland. Every given Saturday starting on 7th June , from 22:00 till midnight Madwave on air provides you fresh dance music by hot guests straight from the top of world DJ elite backed with resident mixes, starting your night out just in the right mood. Trance, house, electro, progressive, breaks ... You name it, we are already playing it for you!

Constant progress in search of perfection, is exactly what Madwave on air is all about. In very near future there will be some massive monthly guest shows, exclusive for Finland and not broadcasted anywhere else in whole Scandinavia on FM frequencies.
