DREXCIYAN dj STINGRAY (US, Detroit)
dj Stingray 313 or Sherard Ingram, better know as the musician under the name Urban Tribe has been spreading Detroit Elektro/Techno sound spirits over 15 years, starting with releases on Carl Craig's label Retroactive and then continuing publishing under various names on such labels as Mo Wax, Rephlex, Micron Audio, Trust, Pomelo and Clone.
Word Drexciyan originates from the fact, that James Marcel Stinson used to select him for many Drexciya LIVE acts as an official DJ.
For example, you might find in internet a clip All Tomorrows Party Radio 1 - LIVE, which is often mistaken to be LIVE by Drexciya, in reality is mixed by Stingray.

"HANDCLAPS" - music you've never seen before.
Here you deal with film program, which is leaded by Tim Tetzner, whos' research works on music documentary films gave an idea to use his gathered knowledge and contacts with different film festivals and events.
1) Amon Tobin - Foley Room (Scott Da Ros, UK 2006, 40 min) Thrilling and indeep documentary film about the recording process of Amon Tobins Foley Room Album. The film follows Tobin on his search for unusual sound sources, shows him as a restless field recorder and sees him arranging bits and pieces in his london studio.
2) Mr. De - A Detroit Story (Jean-Christophe Gaudry, US/France 2006, 50 min) Gaudry's portrait of Underground Resistance artist and co-manager of Submerge, Mr. D, looks intimately and with a fine eye for detail at contemporary post-industrial Detroit and the structures of its independent music business. Detroit, one of America's richest
cities when it comes to music, yet also one of its poorest and most dangerous, was a decisive catalyst for the genesis of Techno and now appears to be once again generating new musical departures. This look at Detroit also shows how music can both reflect and shape socio-political realities. "It«s the history of a city through a man«s history."
3) House (Gabriel Shalom, USA 2005, 18 min) As a lesson in well done edutainment, Gabe Shaloms House tracks down the different styles, production procedures and cultural habits of electronic dance music. Switching between the fast cutted videoclip aesthetic and the fact based narrative of an interview with Dj Scott Hardkiss, this videomusic documentary stands for an inspiring new genre of music related film.
4) Living Inside The Speaker (Madboy & Spermchaser, 2006, 37 min) Documentary about the Bristol Dubstep scene featuring Pinch, Blazey, Bubonic, Peverelist, Thinking, DubBoy, Kidkut, Atki2, Hench, Gutterbreakz, Subloaded, Dubloaded, Noir, Ruffnek Diskotek, Dubstudio & Rooted Records. Contributions from none other than Search & Destroy, Skream, Chef, Elemental & Distance. Also features the unreleased video of Pinch's 'Qawwali VIP'
5) When i sold my soul to the machine (Igor Lesic, Ronald Lindgreen & Merijn Pancras, NL 2005, 41 min) When, in the mid-90s, artists such as I-F, Unit Moebius, Legowelt and Orgue Electronique, along with Bunker Records, turned Den Haag into the central publishing platform for electronic music and hence into the Netherland«s metaphorical Detroit, structures were put in place for some pretty damn agile subculture, as the interviews, backroom scenes and party shots in tonight«s feature will reveal.
