Daft Punkilta on tullut leffa. Vaikuttaa sangen mielenkiintoiselta.

"The film has been screened as part of the Directors' Fortnight, an unofficial adjunct to the Cannes Film Festival. Directed by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter, the human/robot hybrids behind Daft Punk, the film is, "...a psychedelic musical and visual odyssey that revolves around two robots and their quest to become human," according to the press release.

The reclusive musicians recently played their first show in eight years at this year's Coachella Festival, and have a few European festival appearances scheduled as well. In 2003, they collaborated with Japanese director Leiji Matsumoto on the animated film "Interstella 5555," which also screened at the Directors' Fortnight. The theme of machine vs. man has been frequently explored in Daft Punk's music, most recently on the 2005 studio album "Human After All."
