MARCO V (ID&T / Holland)
Marco v has been around for many years, as an inventive, style-blending deejay and a successful and devoted producer. Keywords in both careers have always been; energetic, crowdpleasing and high-quality.
Even though he has played in very differing locations, and with house-music constantly changing shape, marco succeeded to create a geniune `Marco V` sound, easily recognisable by its constant drive and uplifting melodies. People love him for it and he never leaves the dancefloor empty. Being a deejay as well as a very productive producer seems like an exhausting job, but he does it smiling. "I can get pretty tired sometimes, but the sound of a cheering audience always gets me through." And that`s exactly what they do, cheer. No matter if it`s a huge event such as Sensation, DanceValley or Global Gathering, or a regular party at a club. "The audience is always my first concern. If the music is great, but the party isn`t happening, something is definitely going wrong. I try to prove that it is possible to create a happy atmosphere with quality music. It is not the easiest way to play, but it has kept me around for all these years." And he intents to stay around for some more, his latest projects being mixed compilations for both GateCrasher(UK) and Guvernment(CA). These are not his first. He for instance compiled and mixed Innercity 2000 and 2002 and his own artist-profile compilation will be released early 2004. "It never completely captures the magic of a deejay-set, but it is a great way to be exposed to a larger audience."
nother way to get this exposure is producing. Marco knows all about this. His career got an enormous boost after the release of "Godd" and "Simulated", which were both big successes in clubs worldwide. They paved the way for his first album called "Con:Fusion" which was released in 2002 and was awarded "best dance artist album" at the BBM dance awards that year. His version of the house classic `Loops`n`Tings` will also be released soon (Marco V vs Jens).
This combination of producing and deejaying gained him the number 15 spot in this years international DJMAG djtop100.
ORKIDEA (Unity, Black Hole Recordings)
Orkidea's background lies in illegal squat after parties back in 1992 when he was 15. For larger audience dj Orkidea became known from big finnish raves and the huge illegal Lepakko afterhours parties in Helsinki.
Orkidea has played practically every city, club and major electronic music event in Finland with a pace of over 100 gigs a year. Recently also Cream, Renaissance, Gatecrasher, Global Underground, The End, Sundissential, Prodigy, Platipus and MFS have used Orkidea on their tours to Finland.
Orkidea's new single 'Melancholy' has been signed to DJ Tiesto's Black Hole label and will be released Autumn 2003 with remixes from Cor Fijneman and Hardy Heller.
MAGELLAN PROJECT - live (Drizzly Recordings)
Magellan Project was born in the beginning of 2002 when Joonas and Matti met at Ferry Corsten's gig in Helsinki, both guys had been making music for many years, so combining forces felt like a good idea. Magellan's studio is located in the center of Tampere, Finland and their first single, "Dive Theme", is a theme song for Tampere based Club Dive. Dive Theme will be released in the beginning of 2004 by Asgard Recordings (UK) and the track is also being supported by many international djs like DJ Stigma, Misja Helsloot, Cor Fijnemann, etc... At the moment the guys are producing new material and also making remixes of other artist's productions.
BELIAR (Detunez Records, Madwave, Resurrection)
Has played records since the begin of 90's, Beliar has made his way up from small underground basement raves to the considerables clubs in Finland, spinning alongside such a names as Mike Kogling, Ali Wilson, Danny D, Karri K, Proteus, to name just a few. Well-known around the Finland from his multistyle Djing, Beliar spins records regularly (over 10 gigs per month) all over the country and has held three residencies: at a monthly trance and hard dance night Club Madwave, hard NRG club; RESURRECTION and a new trance club; liQuid. Beliar is co-operating with one of the biggest record shop in Finland; Detunez Records what makes it possibility to get latests records and promos.

In 1987 Tero received two acid house mixtapes from his friends, in the process introducing him to the cutting edge of 80's electronic music - and encouraging him to spend the majority of his earnings on vinyl, synthesizers, and traveling to warehouse parties all over Finland. In 1991 it was his turn to start "resonating the windows".
The 1992 UK breakbeat frenzy projected his style to more electronic heights. Later, when the first releases of 1993 came out from labels such as Eye-Q, Guerrilla and Harthouse They seemed to fit the picture of the dark and dirty warehouses and clubs in the industrial city of Tampere, Tero's home town back then, and struck an immediate chord.
During the years he has spent some great moments behind the decks, DJ'ing with names such as Tiésto, Tom 'Superchumbo' Stephan, Sander Kleinenberg, Dimitry, Omid 16B Nourizadeh, Ian Ossia, Guy Gerber, Rowan Blades, Lee Coombs, Tarrentella & Redanka and many more. As his most memorable moments DJ'ing he rates a back to back set with Andry Nalin (of Nalin & Kane) at a Renaissance after-hours party and his intensive battle with DJ Orkidea at the DJ Boxing Battle in Helsinki. Abroad he has played in countries including Hungary, Sweden and Estonia.
UKE (Miau!, U & K)
U&K are Kimik & Uke, two 26 year old guys from Tampere, Finland, who've been producing music for about 4 years and dj:ing for about 10 years.
During the many years of deejaying Kimik & Uke have both played in right about all major cities & clubs in Finland and still continue to do so. They've been promoting their own monthly clubnight called Miau! for 6 years now in their hometown Tampere. Miau! was also voted 'Best Club of Finland' in 1998 by the clubbers and 'Best Club in Tampere' in 2000 by City Magazine. Miau! is still one of the best known clubs in Finland and Kimik and Uke are the resident dj's of the club. U&K's productions have gained support from major dj's including Lee Burridge, Gabriel&Dresden, Way Out West, Hernan Cattaneo, Graham Gold, Sasha, Bushwacka, Orkidea, Saeed & Palash and the list goes on and on...
