The latest remix package from Chris Liebing`s Evolution album isn't for the faint hearted. Over rock hard beats and dense rhytms, MB electronics producer Titaniums version of "Disorder and Chaos" has harsh, dense riffs and an aggressive vibe that sets the tone for the rest of the E.P.. Slovenian Newcomer Flash Golden unleashes a brutally dark bassline on his re-construction of "Dark matter" and Riotbots mix of "Fires of hell" is suitably apocalyptic, featuring droning, grinding riffs and an ominous breakdown. Only Silvio Marquardt provides relief with his haunting version of "String Theory".

Chris is letting four productions teams/people create their own
interpretations of tracks from his past album. And this is banging techno as
its best. (or as we say in Sweden - Mangeltechno).
On the a-side we find a drum heavy remix on "Disorder or Chaos" crafted by
the Austrian duo Felipe and Nicholas (aka Titanium). Next is newcomer Flash
Golden's take on "Dark Matter" which is a solid loop based percussion fusion
with layered stabs.
On the flip another newcomer, Riotbot, takes on "Fire of Hell". Again a
solid pumping beat full of percussion elements that drops a sort of ravey
synth line after the break halfway in. Will do its job for sure. Last out is
Silvio Marquardt's (yes another newcomer) take on "String Theory" which
sticks out from the rest a bit. Yep it's distorted and pumping but the beat
is not 4/4 and there's also some distorted strings layered nicely to the
beat.
Nothing that surprise on this release but it's nice that new people gets a
chance to show off their skills and all the tracks will work the floors on
hard tech clubs this summer...
