if you remember "hoping", this is nothing like it. the titel track sounds like sinatra meets samba, nice but too difficult for dancefloors. the flipside features peaches and has a nice moody bassline..."feel this, smell that!"

don't think I would've bought this for the store price w/o hearing the titles, but now I'm glad I managed to get hold of this compilation. I guess sven väth basically just called his favorite producers (kit clayton, sutekh, daze maxim, pantytec, steve bug, glove, justin berkovi, dj rush, sikora, gaetano parisio, stewart walker, richard bartz) and asked them all to do one track for him...kickass 6x12" compilation, every track sure to do damage on the dancefloor at the right moment.

clemens neufelds giant wheel label is going to have some lawyers on its ass any day now, with this kind of blatant sampling going on. hyperspeed techno version of some u2 song I don't know (I know that sounds bad, but it's really quite good ) on the one, and a extremely slamming breakbeat monster on the flip side.

hehe, dj Hell continues to license hits off of obscure labels (in this case john selways nyc-based serotonin records). I'll be sick of this track in 3-4 weeks from now, I'm sure, but till then I'm enjoying the ride...watch out for "sunglasses at night" by tiga & zyntherius, another electro cover that's sure to be the next gigolo hit (didn't really like that soul on soul dealie...).
