Major Ibiza club, Amnesia, directly responsible.
For 5 years a 'mystery' company in Benidorm has copyrighted several major club names including Gatecrasher, Clockwork Orange and Miss Moneypennys, holding them to ransom in Ibiza.
This 'mystery' company has caused millions of pounds worth of damage to the UK clubbing community in Ibiza.
Godskitchen have been in a legal battle for two years over copyright issues with the same 'mystery' company.
This legal battle has cost over £100,000.
The entire of clubland has been disgusted by the action of this 'mystery' company Godskitchen can now PROVE that Ibiza superclub, Amnesia, is DIRECTLY responsible for this corporate blackmailing.
Amnesia have always maintained they are avid supporters of UK clubs in Ibiza. Godskitchen has today received evidence proving Amnesia to be responsible for the corporate blackmailing of several major UK clubs on the island. For years they have denied any involvement, condemning those responsible. Godskitchen can now release documented proof placing Amnesia directly at the heart of this corruption scandal.
Further news will be announced at tomorrow's press conference adding another twist to the corruption scandal.
Godskitchen are issuing a call out to UK clubland to unite against this corruption. Godskitchen want the support of every DJ, promoter and member of the press to help stop the strong-arming and blackmailing of UK promoters by this organisation. UK clubs play a huge part in the islands society, bringing in millions of pounds of revenue every summer, this corruption must stop.
Godskitchen have received approval from their legal team that they can continue as planned with their dates at Eden this summer. However, the fight will not stop until the corruption of this supposed supporter of the UK clubbing community is brought to light and those responsible brought to justice.
This has to stop and now we have the evidence to bring this corruption to light. This is only the start of the story.

As you know in any scandal there is always two versions, you only are taking into consideration the side of Godskitchen. For your information Godskitchen signed a contract two years ago were it said that they had the rights in Spain to use their brand and logo so we signed with them. Then during the summer some person from Alicante came to us and said that we could not use any more the name of Godskitchen as it was his property.
Then CHRIS GRIFFIN asked for help to us so we went to Alicante to talk with this person and he said that we had to pay for the name 7.000.000 pts if we wanted to continue using its name. As the real problem was more for Amnesia than for Godskitchen because the club is in Spain, we decided to buy the name and we said to CHRIS GRIFFIN that we had paid 7.000.000 pts for their name and we wanted the money back. He was really happy with this decision as this was the end of his problem.
Then on e year after Godskithen have still not paid for the name, but not only this but they were negotiating with EDEN as EDEN gives them all the door revenue for them. We knew that so we ask them why they were talking with EDEN (remember that Ibiza is like a small town where everybody knows what is going on) . They replied that this was not true, and in January 2002 they said to us that they did not want to continue with us unless we gave them the same deal and we said 'NO' because you are not better than the other promotors. Us you may understand we are not going to give them the name back until they pay us what they owe us.
