This month's Science is going to be slightly dubstep flavoured, although drum'n'bass will be the main thing as usual, but as guest dj's we'd like to introduce two people who have estabilished themselves in Helsinki as dubstep dj's.
Patient and Hereill are both part of the 5 piece crew hosting the Helsinki Subconscious show on Helsinki based fm station Basso, as well as on the highly acclaimed dubstep.fm online radio. They've played opened up for guys like Distance and Zed Bias and are solid part of the lineups for Helsinki Drum'n'bass & Dubstep Conference, which is held couple of times a year and it brings the headz in Helsinki under one roof.
However, this time we'll hear what they've got to offer at 170 bpm. You might hear some Autonomic beats, dubby halfbeat steppers or possibly atmospherics cuts from mid 90's. Maybe something is dropped at 140 bpm too.
Obviously, we have resident Scientists dropping the beats as well. Vvr and Axu are going to present their research on the state of drum'n'bass between the years 1994 and 2010.
