Boom Festival is held in Portugal every two years during the August full moon. Itstarted in 1997 with a handful of enthusiasts and grew into a unique gathering ofpeople from all over the world.Boom is an independent culture and artistic expression festival. It crosses different art forms like music, paint, graffiti, multimedia, installations, land art,theatre, cinema, performances, live painting and video art, being one of the mostgenuine multidisciplinary events in the world, with more than 800 artists performing on-site.Boom is an intercultural event as well. Before midnight one DJ and one live act play the old tunes – or the new-school goa – that inspired a whole generation of people to dance in forests, beaches, lakes, deserts, away from the daily routine. Only music mattered, even if the DJs didn’t mix with those old-school DAT players! We don’t want to be revivalists. Mukaan vaan rohkeasti. Suomesta lähtee käsittääkseni ihan mukavasti jengiä tuonne ja varmaan jo matkan varrella ehtii tutustua porukoihin!

Ostettiin juuri kaverin kanssa liput POTB:ltä ([email protected]) täältä Suomesta. Liput maksavat nyt 175 euroa/kpl. Heidän kautta saa myös varattua bussikuljetukset lentokentän ja festarialueen välille.

Me esimerkiksi ostimme Lufthansalta lennot Helsinki-Lissabon-Helsinki (Frankfurtin kautta), hinta oli noin 280 euroa per nuppi edestakas. Lähtö ti 17.8 klo 9.25 Helsingistä ja paluumatkalle to 26.8 klo 16.50 Lissabonista. Mutta vaihtoehtoja on useita, myös Madridin kautta voisi lentää.

Liian kauan ei varmaan kannata haudutella ajatusta, koska festariliput myytäneen jossain vaiheessa loppuun ennakkoon ja lentoliput alkavat kallistua lähempänä ajankohtaa.

Festari liput maksaa tällä hetkellä 175 € joka on viimeinen ennakkolippu hinta, meillä on vielä noin 30 lippua jäljellä ja niiden loputtua tilaamme lisää jos niitä vielä on jäljellä, mutta kuten Biglupu sanoi ennakot myydään melko varmasti loppuun, vertailun vuoksi voisi mainita että kaksi vuotta sitten kun boom viimeksi järjestettiin sinne myytiin melkein 40 000 lippua, tänä vuonna lippujen määrä on rajattu 26 000
