Biggest challenge this year: Getting home from Eastern Siberia by car after missing a flight. A proper nightmare!

It's been another 12 months of fairly feverish continent hopping, gig rocking action for The Thrillseekers. One that's seen some more debuts ticked off the list.

"I played in Outer Mongolia for the first time this year," says Steve Helstrip. "It's always exhilarating to play in regions where electronic dance music is a newer proposition for people."

Over on the production side, this was also the year that the once omnipresent Thrillseekers remix made its reappearance. After a five-year sabbatical, Steve picked up where he left off (almost), with his fourth Chicane remix.

"On the original production front I had 'City Of Angels' out earlier in the year. The aim was to do something wholeheartedly club-orientated and it seemed to come off extremely well!"

Looking forward Steve is in optimistic mood.

"I've got my new track 'Savanna' coming out through Armada before the end of the year and with lots of new tunes waiting in the wings, 2010 should be my busiest production year yet.

"I'll also be touring Thrillseekers live, which I'm really looking forward to. Before I started producing trance I was always involved with bands, so live is something I've always wanted to get back to.

"With the technology available these days I can literally remix my own tracks on the fly so no two performances will be the same. I'm going to be breaking some new ground, it's going to feel good!"

Three Drives (On A Vinyl) takaa löytyvät henkilöt Erik de Koning (DJ Enrico) sekä Ton van Empel (Ton TB). Tuottaja kaksikko on tehnyt vakuuttavaa jälkeä musiikin saralla ja tuloksena onkin syntynyt useita clubi-maailman hittejä. Se suurin ja ehdottomasti tunnetuin kappale on legendaarinen ”Greece 2000” jota et ole voinut välttyä kuulemasta. Lisää tästä duosta löydät:

Andy Duguid(UK)
Andy on vähintäänkin mielenkiintoinen vieras nimittäin hänen kappaleensa
ovat soineet tiuhaan tahtiin maailmalle siitä saakka, kun vuonna 2006 DJ
Tiësto poimi kappaleen nimeltään “Hypocrisy” omaan soittoonsa. Sen jälkeen
myös Armin van Buuren sekä Paul van Dyk ovat huomanneet kyseisen artistin
sekä soittaneet Andyn kappaleita seteissään. Duguid on tuottanut musiikkia
useiden eri alias nimikkeiden alla joita ovat Reeves, Corsie sekä Emilio
Fernandez. Suurin hitti Andylta tähän päivään saakka on kappale nimeltään
Wasted.

Viimeisiä viedään!! Enään kaksi iltaa on jäljellä näitä Colorsin 10-vuotisen uran kunniaksi järjestettyjä tapahtumia Freda 51:ssä. Mikäli et ole viellä käynyt paikalla nyt kannattaa jo harkita.. : )

Vuorossa ovat 12.12. John “00” Flemming (UK) & Jon O’bir (UK) & Käpä(colors). Lämmitelijäksi tarjolla oli alunperini Sonny Wharton(uk) mutta hänelle tarjottiin parempaa keikkaa soitollisesti toisesta maasta joten hänen managmenttinsa perui tulon.

Todellakin enään kaksi iltaa on jäljellä, koska 26.12 oleva tapahtuma siirtyy tulevaisuuteen eli sitä emme järjestä. Muutama tarkalleen 2kpl ennakkolipun ostaneita saavat rahansa takaisin Tiketistä.
