In the past he has been dubbed "the godfather of the Ibiza anthem" but Chicane mastermind Nick Bracegirdle has come a long way since the sun drenched Balearic shores first throbbed to the sound of what is now recognised by many as the archetypal chill out classic 'Offshore'.
'Far From the Maddening Crowds' was the debut album from Chicane when Nick first burst onto the scene back in 1997. Featuring 'Offshore', the album has since become unavailable and is now highly sought after.
Chicane was later cast further into the public consciousness in 1999 with the release of the epic Saltwaterwhich featured Maire Brennan of Clannad. Then in 2000 with the number 1 smash hit Don't Give Up featuring the gravely vocal tones of legendary rocker Bryan Adams, Nick found himself a regular fixture on radio. The release of his second album 'Behind the Sun' followed reaching the Top 10 and becoming a major success across Europe.
The Chicane concept is one of a nomadic band which doesn't conform to the traditional approach of having a single lead singer, working with many different artists and producers. It is a common mistake to think Nick is a DJ - he is actually the writer and producer within the band and the hub of all the live perfomances.
Aside from his own projects, Nick took time out to lend his famed production talents to a string of other artists, including co-writing and producing tracks for Cher's 'Living Proof' album. He performed remixes for the likes of 'Everything but the Girl', 'BT' and also wrote and produced a song for previous collaborator Bryan Adams called 'Eastside Story' which would later appear on Adams''Room Service' album.
With the impending release of the third Chicane album in 2003, Nick suffered a major setback when he became a victim of internet bootlegging. "Amongst many others a wretched character in Russia was peddling my wares on his personal website, rendering two years of work completely useless" explains Nick."I was not best pleased".
Chicane returned in 2006 with a new sound. 'Stoned in Love', the first single to be taken from forthcoming album 'Somersault', is not so much a departure but in many ways an evolution of the classic Chicane sound. Although the dance element is still alive and well, the track displays a new rock/indie edge and signals a change in direction towards more 'song based' tracks incorporationg strong melodies. It also features the unmistakable voice of Tom Jones.
For years Chicane has tended to be pigeon holed as a dance act, however the current live show and new material confirm that Chicane is far more diverse with the band continuing to push the boundaries of electronic music live.
Over the years the Chicane live experience has travelled far and wide, from the relative sanity of London's Islington Academy, to the vastness of Moscow's Red Square. An appearance at the The World Trade Centre in Manila in 2006 was a similarly bizarre experience. "It was a great gig" Nick reminisces. "Thousands of fans watching us become dehydrated and shrivelling into little more than cornflakes on stage in the unbearable heat".
2007 saw the release of Chicane's third album 'Somersault', and the first single taken from that album - 'Come Tomorrow', along with many more crazy gigs around the world.
In 2008, Chicane was set to have two further major collaborations - resulting in the single "Bruised Water" featuring Natasha Bedingfield (blending elements of 'Saltwater' with the vocals of "I Bruise Easily") and "Wake Up" featuring Keane.
These tracks and the myriad other classics were all brought together in October 2008 with the release of "Chicane - Best Of (1996-2008)" - a carefully-selected compilation of the very finest Chicane cuts from those 12 years of music.

BINARY FINARY are back!
In an exciting new union, Stuart Matheson and Matt Laws from Binary Finary, and the pioneer of Australia's oldskool rave revival ‐ Sasha Vatoff, have joined forces to relaunch BINARY FINARY in 2010 with their first new headline show at ID&Ts Sensation in Melbourne, Australia on New Years Eve and throughout Australia and worldwide in 2010.
Binary Finary have long been a household name amongst dance music enthusiasts as the makers of the soaring trance anthem "1998", which became the ever first instrumental electronic track to enter the UK Top 40 charts. It was subsequently remixed by Paul Van Dyk and played by the likes of Tiësto & Armin Van Buuren, who helped send it all the way to number 1, and a decade later it's still one of the greatest uplifting trance tracks ever to hit dancefloors! Binary Finary took a break in 2000 and Stuart Matheson travelled to Australia with his studio equipment in '03 ‐ around the time the rise of software synths that was happening around the world.
He was newly inspired and returned to the UK to reunite with his music partner Matt Laws for a Binary Finary tour of Europe, and in 2005 they released a digital‐only album "The Lost Tracks", made up of B.F. pieces that had never seen the light of day.
In 2006 Stuart returned to Sydney where he became a rubber‐stamped local and then a husband to an Australian wife, who he had first laid his British eyes on in '03. Stuart also remixes under his own name, and has recently completed a remix for ARIA nominated Bertie Blackman.
Matt Laws has been building a reputation in Ireland offering artists advice and management as well as a taking a hands on production role, quietly forging new talent through a small project label since the release of "The Lost Tracks". Matt has been Investing heavily in computer based music since the success of '1998' to expand upon passion for sonic sculpture and audio detail. More recently, he's become a father, so he's able to dedicate studio time and effort to producing the tools for Stuart and Sasha to take out live, in between taking care of his son.
Sasha Vatoff's Reunion parties have become the leading face of Australia's rave movement, reviving the hardcore rave sounds of the early nineties at huge rave spectaculars across the land. Vatoff was recently assigned the envious task of compiling and mixing Ministry of Sound's ode‐to the‐era triple CD, "Rave Anthems", which is regarded as the most comprehensive cataloguing ever of the various house and techno anthems which surfaced in warehouses from 1990 to 1996, and set the scene for the sounds of parties and festivals today.
Stuart & Sasha will soon unleash a full live show that bursts onto the stage in an explosion of technology, while Matt Laws supports them with their studio productions which will keep their Live shows fresh while they are on tour. The music is best described as a fusion of more classic‐styled trance with the latest in progressive electronica.

Giuseppe Ottaviani has started to release tracks on Vandit Records, Paul Van Dyks renowned label, in 2001, and since then can be considered one of the most talented producer and influential recording artist in trance music. His musical education started at the age of 4 years in Viterbo, a small Italian town near Rome when he first started to play the piano. After music school in his early childhood and studies of classical music as a teen, he discovered electronic music and started to spin his first DJ-sets at clubs and on local radio stations.
His deep enthusiasm for anything related to technology led to him beginning to use his computer to make and produce his own music and when he met Andrea Ribeca and Giacomo Miccichè in 1999 (two electronic music enthusiasts and also DJs) quickly decided to start their own music project: NU NRG - Giuseppes starting point as a professional musician and producer.
Since that time Giuseppe Ottaviani released club anthems like Dreamland, the Spaceflower EP, Butterfly, Casino, Connective and the smash hit Free Fall and won numerous awards like the Trance Award in 2004 and 2006 for Best Live Act. No wonder why he is playing on the biggest Festivals and greatest events while touring all over the world.
Since 2005 Giuseppe Ottaviani has started his solo career with big success. His solo-productions like Linking People, Through Your Eyes or his compilation The Vandit Sessions 4 receive an outstanding feedback from all around the globe. The tracks La Dolce Vita and Far Away on Paul van Dyks new album In Between again show his quality as one of the most creative artists in this scene. He also keeps on performing live with more enthusiasm as ever before: 


Playing my own music live is something special, something that really touches me. Giuseppe says, it is an electronic music concert, performing on stage allows you to get through to the people, they really breathe the music, you can establish a two-way bond with them and the music itself changes and reacts to the people, this is why each show is different, unique. 
What ever the next year will bring for Giuseppe Ottaviani, it will be big!

Playing my own music live is something special, something that really touches me. Giuseppe says, it is an electronic music concert, performing on stage allows you to get through to the people, they really breathe the music, you can establish a two-way bond with them and the music itself changes and reacts to the people, this is why each show is different, unique.

Flamingoon pääsee aamusta iltaan helposti ja kätevästi useilla Vantaan sisäisillä linja-autoilla ja YTV:n seutubussilinjoilla. Pysäkit ovat lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä Tasetien, Lentoasemantien ja kehä III:sen varrella bussilinjasta riippuen. Viimeiset bussit (615T) Helsinkiin kulkevat joka yö aina noin klo. 02:00 saakka.
Linja-autoyhteydet:
Lentokentältä: Helsinki-Vantaan lentokentältä on vain muutaman minuutin matka Flamingoon. Ulkomaan terminaalilta saavut kätevästi bussilla 61. Linja 61:n pysäkit ovat aivan Flamingon välittömässä läheisyydessä Tasetiellä sekä Rälssitiellä.

Tikkurilan rautatieasemalta:
Tikkurilan rautatieasemalta liikennöi YTV:n linja-auto 61 kymmenen minuutin välein Flamingon kautta lentokentälle.
Taksilla:
Lentoasemalta ja rautatieasemalta pääset kätevästi taksilla suoraan Flamingon pääsisäänkäynnin eteen, jossa on myös taksitolppa.
Omalla autolla:
Flamingoon saavut kätevästi myös omalla autolla. Flamingon pysäköintihallin 800 ilmaista paikkaa odottavat sinua.
Helsingistä: Aja Kehä III:sta kunnes poistut Vantaanportin ramppia pitkin oikealle. Jatka suoraan Lentoasemantietä ja käänny vasemmalle Tasetielle. Jatka Tasetietä niin kauan kunnes Flamingo näkyy tien vasemmalla puolella.
Helsinki-Vantaa lentoasemalta: Lähdet matkaan Rahtitietä ja käänny vasemmalle Ilmailutielle. Ilmailutieltä oikealle Ilmakehään kunnes saavut rampille. Rampilta oikealle Lentoasemantielle. Jatka Lentoasemantietä kunnes käännyt vasemmalle Tasetielle. Jatka Tasetietä niin kauan kunnes Flamingo näkyy tien vasemmalle puolella.
Espoosta: Aja Espoontietä ja poistu ramppia pitkin oikealle ja jatka suoraan Kehä III:sta. Aja Kehä III:sta n. 20 km kunnes poistut ramppia pitkin oikealle Lentoasemantielle. Jatka suoraan Lentoasemantietä ja käänny vasemmalle Tasetielle. Jatka Tasetietä niin kauan kunnes Flamingo näkyy tien vasemmalla puolella.
