In the beginning, there was Jack, and Jack had a groove.
And from this groove came the groove of all grooves.
And while one day viciously throwing down on his box

and house music was born.
DAVE SEAMAN (Renaissance / Global Underground, UK)
Dave Seaman is one of the original pioneers of house music. He has been DJing for over 25 years, was the first editor of the clubbers bible, Mixmag, and has remixed and produced as Brothers in Rhythm for everybody from U2 to Kylie and Placebo to the Pet Shop Boys. He has also done over 20 mix compilations for the likes of Global Underground and Renaissance, been the main man behind the independent dance music labels, Stress Records and Audio Therapy and still found time to model for Levi's in Japan, present TV programmes for the BBC and tour the world probably more than any other DJ. Dave has just completed the latest Renaissance Masters compilation and after 10 years of requests to Finland we are very proud to have him headlining our 7th Birthday Party.

JODY WISTERNOFF (Way Out West, UK)
Jody Wisternoffs influence and contribution to dance music cannot be overstated. So what connects the dots between the Global DJ, the teenage Hip Hop prodigy, the mega selling progressive house act and the solo nu disco offerings ala 'Cold Drink, Hot Girl'? Its his quest for the perfect beat and bass line, the need to layer the best string, to squeeze the most perfect note from the technology available, to match the best track for the best moment at the right party. And its that constant desire for perfection that drives him on and on. His hook up with Bristol dj Nick Warren in 1994 gave us the Way Out West. With big singles (The Fall/ Ajare/ Mindcircus/ Killa/ Future Perfect) and big albums the majors came running and it produced their enormously prolific remix period touching up everyone from BT and Tiesto to Faithless and Paul van Dyk. With the new stunning Way Out West album 'We Love Machine' out now, Jody is more current than ever.
