The voting has finally been counted and many new names have entered the list as well and a big upset in the top 10 this year.
The biggest climber is the winner of the overall title, Marcus Schössow who previous years managed the top 50 at best, but this year he is the overall winner of the title : Most Popular Nordic DJ 2008. He is also the first Swedish DJ to win the title, which has been dominated by Finland's DJ Orkidea the past few years.
The three time winner Orkidea moved down to 4th place this year, giving way for fellow countrymen, Maku L (Markus Lasanen) and Sasha F. Another big drop in the standings is Tim Andresen who was 5th last year, but this year only 69th. A big drop for the former winner from Denmark.
Eric Prydz enters the Top 10 for the first time ever in the election and many others fail to enter the top 100. Such artists are Joel Mull, Bastards of Funk, Miss Dilemma, Nils Noa, Ned Flanders, Roland Lifjell, Dana Bergqvist, Dumb Dan, Alex Moreno, Alaa & DJ La Fleur.
