This month's Radio Unity tonight (Wednesday 21st of October) on Afterhours.fm features many of my favorite producers. It will also be quite a journey through different styles and tempos from 125 bpm to 135 bpm. I'll play couple tracks from Way Out West's new album, fresh mayerial from Faithless' forthcoming album, brilliant melodic prog house from Shiloh, some finnish progressive trance from Allende, uplifting trance from Super8 & Tab and some ravey big room sound from Sander van Doorn. So this time it's pretty tried-and-tested list of names. Podcast will be available tomorrow on Thursday 22nd of October.

"Tonights (Wednesday 18th of November 21:00-22:00 CET) Radio Unity has two themes: remixes and uplift.

For some reason this episode is packed with remixes of both old and new tracks. Sure I like brand new tracks more than remixes of old stuff but I also see nothing wrong in making something old playable and available for todays clubbing generation. On the remix front the are classics for example from Marco V, Tilt and Thrillseekers and also featured is a 2009 remix of my debut single Unity. Im actually working on not one but three remixes to celebrate 10th anniversary of the original release. Release details are yet to be confirmed but it will most likely be one high profile european trance label

The other clear theme is uplift. Im nowadays more into the progressive trance but sure I enjoy proper uplifting trance in its typical form if the production is top notch and riffs catchy to my ear. These tracks have been rocking my peaktime trance sets during the past months with stuff from the likes of Heatbeat, Cosmic Gate, Wippenberg, Armin and Gareth Emery included.

The show will also be broadcasted on NRJ Finland this Saturday and the odcast will be available this Sunday. Hope youll enjoy the show and catch you live on Afterhours.fm forum chat."

Hmm... Mulla toimii web replay ja podcast molemmat Safarilla ja iTunesilla. Laittaisitko lisää infoa errorista (jos vaan löytyy) niin voidaan tutkailla että missä vika..?

Mullakaan ei pelitä. Nettisivulla lukee vaan conneting -> file not found ja iTunesissa lataus alkaa, mutta yhtään kilotavua ei tuu koneelle asti

(edit: nyt tuli iTunesissa virheilmoitus "virhe=-3259")

Käytössä MacBook, Snow Leopard, Safari ja Elisan kapelimodeemi.

Radio Unity 012: Special old school progressive mix

"On New Year's Day 01.01.2010 I'll play a 23 hour set in Helsinki at Redrum. I've made two old school themed mixes to warm up the marathon session. In that 23h set I'll be playing my favorite pieces of electronic dance music from the past 23 years alongside with the latest goodies from across different genres.

The two old school sets will be themes "progressive" and "trance". How original hehe... The progressive mix will be my December Radio Unity while the trance mix (focusing on very old school material) will be part of Afterhours.fm's End Of The Year celebrations and coming out near NYE.

It was super hard to pick just ten favorites from the past 15 years of progressive house. There are some obvious choices and probably couple less obvious too. Out of the usual suspects on production front featured are Redanka, Underworld, Spooky, Infusion, Tilt, Jerome Isma-ae and Sunday Club to name a few. It's quite an emotional and melodic journey leaning towards Renaissance influenced progressive trance at the times. Hope you'll like it!

Airing takes place traditionally 21:00-22:00 CET (22-23 finnish time) on the third Wednesday of the month which is today 16.12.2009. Feel free also to join the live chat at AH.FM message board. The set will also be broadcast on NRJ Finland this Saturday at 23:00-00:00 and be available as podcast on Sunday."
