Saturday, December 13th 2008 saw LIQUID CRYSTAL SOUNDS celebrate its 2nd year on the Finnish clubbing scene! Hungarys "JAY LUMEN" headlined and certainly carved his mark into those who came.

As an experienced producer and now technically sound DJ, Jay Lumen gave Turku class in its highest form.

British Backup came straight from LCS Residents PROGRESSION and Northern Irish DJs ALI KING and MARK KINNIER.

This 75 minute RETROSPECTIVE Mix comes straight off the press! Mixed by ALI KING, its purpose is to give a full-on reminder of what he span on the night!

This DJ set is more driving and faster building than Mark Kinnier's. Its aim was to set the pace for Jay Lumen and for the night. It did exactly that!

Have it!

I've had this mix (along with Mr. Kinniers) on my MP3 player whilst back in Blighty over xmas & NYE. For me, this is one of your finest sets to date. Every tune builds to create a superb finishing point for Lumen. On the night I remember that PQM got the place rockin'. Laurent Garnier's "The Man With The Red Face" was pure pleasure to hear on the Klubi sound system. It's been a while!

2009 looks to be a change in your style from the earlier years. If this mix is anything to go by, then "Tech" is the magic word. There is an awful lot of quality tunage coming out in the House, Tech-House and Progressive House genres.

Full Marks Mr.King. A memorable set, LCS event and also 2008.
