[iso]::: MARK KINNIER - LCS 'ESTABLISHMENT' ::: :::::::::::::::::: RETROSPECTIVE :::::::::::::::::::[/iso]

Ladies & Gentlemen...

Saturday, December 13th 2008 saw LIQUID CRYSTAL SOUNDS celebrate its 2nd year on the Finnish clubbing scene! Hungary’s "JAY LUMEN" headlined and certainly carved his mark into those who came.

As an experienced producer and now technically sound DJ, Jay Lumen gave Turku class in its highest form.

British Backup came straight from LCS Residents “PROGRESSION” and Northern Irish DJ’s “ALI KING” and “MARK KINNIER”.

This 60 minute RETROSPECTIVE Mix comes straight off the press! Mixed by MARK KINNIER, its purpose is to give a full-on reminder of what he span on the night!

As a warm up set, you will certainly hear how he built up the atmosphere from start to finish.

Download, sit back and soak up the sounds as Mark Kinnier fuels you with a Retrospective of Saturday 13th December...

Cheers. LCS Crew :)

...that Silicon Soul tune is rockin!

That tune plus pretty much the entire mix. I was in awe... Shit loads of upfront stuff... Loads of promos... Just remember asking the whole set: "What's this tune? What's that tune?" *hihu*

Silicone Soul - Call Of The Wild (Soma)
Soundexile - Calling You (Baudelaire) (Noizen)
Underworld - Holding The Moth (Audiojack) (UnderworldLive)
Baudelaire - Skydelique (Audiotherapy)

.......All rocked my boat completely! *sydän**pihkassa*

Good mix. Hypnotic and techy sounds. Mix had also calm and beautiful atmosphere. It was nice to listen this at christmas holidays.

Nice job Mr Kinnier! *joo* I hearded few tracks at the LCS event and loved the sound there. *joo* Nicely built set just keeps rolling and rolling and really gets you in to the hypnotic athmosphere! *slurps* Whole set includes really addictive deep/prog/techy sound but my favorite tracks were absolutely "7. Underworld - Holding The Moth (Audiojack) (UnderworldLive)" and "9. New Order - Blue Monday (Gold Ryan & Tapesh) (CDR)". Keep it rocking Mark! And big thanks for posting this mix to the Klubitus! Thisone stays on my playlist for a long time now! *piis*

just listened to the set. I have to agree with the earlier posts on the topic that there is an hypnotic atmosphere or sound to the set. The first trax really pulled me into the music at an instant, and the set was closed also with a superb classic tune! what more can you demand :) good work man!

Really cool selection! Especially the dark and atmospheric beginning rocked. The smooth progression was disturbed only by the lousy Ferrer and Jabre tracks, which almost made my ears hurt after the moody start ;) Also the Blue Monday remix was a bit lame, but then again probably no one can make that worn-out hit work for me anymore. The rest of the tunes are very well-produced and rich with idea, while most of today's "progressive house" is just shit to me. Mixing is fluent! Let's hope that this sound will rock in Tampere as well (despite the hiphop oriented venue :)

This is not exactly my kind of sound from time to time it was a bit too trancy for me.
BUT it is professionally played and good selection that keeps the mix together .good flow. Definetly LCS sound which meens to me DJs with great skills, music knowledge and global sound.
Keep it up*piis*

Yup that silicone soul track is wicked.
