Grooving his way from the early days of the revolutionary sounds of house and sliding into a more electronic and modern sound Parham is undoubtedly one of the pioneers of the dance scene in Sweden and the Nordic region.
Having spent almost a decade and a half as a DJ, today Parham is busier than ever. His twisted style of playing and producing have gained him a reputation second-to-none for taking you on a journey into the realms of bliss with an added twist of darkness, being both innovative and forward thinking.
With regular gigs at some of the best clubs around the world he has established his name as a seasoned player in the game. Playing for legendary clubs such as Renaissance (worldwide), La Terrazza (Barcelona), Roxy (Prague), Piekarnia (Warsaw), D-Edge (Sao Paolo), Pacha (Buenos Aires), Exit (Kaunas), and of course for Fokused (worldwide).
His guest spots have also taken him to some of the larger festivals around. He has played to a crowd of 40 000 people at Norway's Sommerparade, been one of the headlining names at Estonia's Sundance Music Festival, Finland's Koneisto event and also the gigantic Roskilde Festival in Denmark.
Due to his love and engagement in music he also took on the challenge of producing years ago, making him push creative boundaries and properly showcase his talent to a larger audience of music lovers alike. Parham and his now full-time studio partner Dominic Plaza, first collaborated back in 2002 writing the tracks "Substance" and "Catch The Sun", which were released on the highly respected label Vapour Recordings. Since then the duos many releases have attracted the attention of the world DJ elite.
Releases such as Everyday Elevation and Once was one step down the line, followed up with remixes on artists such as Kasey Taylor, Nikola Gala, Son Kite, James Benitez and many more. Their remix of Chris Lake & The Rhythm Code's "Wrong Turn" was released in 2005 on Babylon records and was called modern, exciting progressive house by DJ Download. The track was also ranked as one of the top tracks one month in DJ Mag and got 5 of 5. Later remixes have been the stunning vocal remix of Miika Kuisma & Mr A's - "Smoky Room" on Fokused which was recently featured on a G-Pal compilation, Romain Rai's "4 AM" on Tribal Vision, and the soon to be released remix of Brisker & Magitman's "Complex".
Underwater Rivers was another original track that got top attention. Getting remixed by Dean Coleman, released on Armada sub label Gangsta Audio and used by Behrouz for Renaissance Frontiers compilation. A release that might have set the footstep for their remix of old time house classic Last Rhythm Last Rhythm on the legendary Renaissance label. Together with a Martjin van Telden remix on the flip the release topped many charts, became an Ibiza anthem during the summer of 2006 and was a "sureplayer" and another 5/5 in DJ Mag. The latest original release Gun on Fokused Recordings with the huge Mashtronic remix has been supported by all top DJs and defines the unique sound of the duo.
And of course, The Future
With a well-established reputation and firm foundation as well as further dates worldwide, plus a whole lot of other secrets up his sleeve, you don't need to be a fortuneteller to understand where he's heading. Just make sure you don't miss out next time he's spinning.
