This Demo starts with mysterious aboriginal sounds of a didgeridoo, live recorded from a friend, traveller, at the Spannish Costa del Sol. Then flowing over into deep minimal, tribal influences. Evoluating to straight up-to-date fast minimal techno, pure Rosegarden stuff, every track feels as the best one, but the next is just better. I close of with some vocals from trainspotting, Choose Life...

Enjoy

The bitrate of the Mix has been corrected, it was due to small server space I had to shrink it to MINIMAL :)

Now at the new server, its at 128kbps, 44kHz which should be sufficient now...

I dont have own serverspace, so I needed to REALLY search for a descent up- and download server...

Sorry for the inconvience, and thank you Trusty, for the help.

Mix runns throught nicely, wery well packed.. not too high peaks, or in the other way: too low.
Not expecially into my ear (of course would dance my ass off if heard on the danceFloor): I would like to hear a pit more groovy stuff?..

Spotted these three songs: Know them - Like them - Have them.

01 Nick Muïr – G Platz
04 Steve Lawler – Violet (Bushwacka Rmx)
10 Midnight Pulse – Lunapark (Jim Rivers Rmx)

Work your techique. That is all u have to do in my opinion. Otherwise You have found your style, and that is the main point! Keep em coming.

Peace!

btw. Do you play Vinyl or Cd:s ?

Thank you for the positive reply and your support Lionel Tiger.

What can I say... I didn't make this demo as an easy-listening-in-the-sohva piece. I made it as if I would have been the last in a row, playing on a crazy Saterday-night or Sunday-morning in my favorite club or afterclub. It's meant to GO, so that's what I brought... This is my style of music, some people might say it's TOO HARD, TOO DEEP, TOO HEAVY.... but as you say, they would dance their cute ass off anyway. :)

Technique... I must admit after listening way too many times to it, there are some minor tricky moments in the mix, but if I compare them to the risks I took, with overlapping some tracks for a really serious time, with all the loops or effect-fixed vocals... it was quit a setty to make.
I lost 2kg in 1h... :) :)
I just didn't want to make a quick-switch-demo, I tried to MIX maximal with minimal...

My Settup is 2xPioneer cdj-800mk2, 1 pioneer djm-600 and a very cheap vinyl player. The whole thing was recorded with a 5 year old laptop.

I WILL KEEP THEM COMING

Thanks

Worth of waiting the download to complete indeed!

Technically not that perfect, but the selection was great! I spotted some really nice tracks I have too.

Nice job.

Listened to it couple of times, not my thing sorry :/

Too many click-clack sounds and too minimal for me, some nice tracks though :) I prefer rolling club techno to minimal, maybe I aint old enuff yet ;)
