BEATNIKS 20.8 @ Kuudeslinja, Mr Joseph, Physics, Antoniomikael!
MR JOSEPH, FIZZY FRIDAYS, LONDON, UK
Founder and resident DJ of Fizzy Friday, Mr Joseph fell in love with drum and bass back in the early 90's, while at college. Even without the use of 2 turntables or a mixer, Mr Joseph kick started his vinyl addiction, spinning tunes on his uncles sound system. It wasn't until 2000 that he finally invested in his own decks, and started running a small night called Mayhem, at Insomnia Bar in the heart of London's West End. Mayhem culminated in a New Years Eve party at Earls Court, 2002, and left Joseph with the hunger to promote more events.
Summer 2004 saw the launch of www.fizzyliquid.com and the chance for Mr Joseph to share his love of drum and bass with the rest of the world, through free downloads, event listings and industry merchandise
Still with a passion to promote, he established Fizzy Wednesday at Southside Bar, Tottenham Court Road. As the nights grew, Fizzy moved to Masque Bar, Kings Cross, and then onto the Oh Bar in Camden Town, where the event attracts ever-increasing numbers of devotees, on the first Friday of every month.
PHYSICS, METALHEADZ, MAC II RECORDINGS
Physics is the production moniker for drum&bass producer/DJ and label owner Glenn Grip currently recording for Labels such as Metalheadz, Blindside, Fokuz, Jerona Fruits,Jerona Dubs, Phuzion, Phuturistic Bluez, Planet Funk and Pivotal Entertainment music, Vibez Recordings to name a couple. Physics music has been supported by international DJ:s such as LTJ Bukem, Goldie, Nookie, Marcus Intalex, Marky&XRS, D-Bridge, Bryan Gee, Makoto and many more. He has collaborated with the likes of XRS, Alix Perez, C.A.B.L.E&Electro Soul System and Being a busy DJ aswell , Djing work have taken him to countries like Czech Rep, Slovakia, Sweden, Romania, Denmark, Russia, UK, Austria, Estonia to name but a few, playing the sounds of the Midnight Sun.
