OIL is Stefan Anderson from the deep fried forests of Ludvika, Sweden.
Stefan likes to experiment and combine influences of different music styles in his production.
Since 2007 his musical direction was turning more and more into a straight
psycho-forest project with an open mind to all kinds of underground genres.

Its hard categorise his style. But, supposedly, u could call it psychedelic
and funky leaning against a dark mood.

He likes to juggle around with a thick range of elements of the track,
over a wide spectrum of frequencies and panorama, in all 4 dimensions of sound.
OIL will bash and wiggle on your third eye. 149 to 165 Times Per Minute.
With a bassline that is mossy, sticky and dripping.

OIL is really fond of artists such as; Derango, Procs, Alex
Adrenal-Matutero-Zik-Glands, Scorb, NRS, Naked Tourist, Ghreg On Earth,
Penta, Lemurians, Electrypnose, Airi, Karash, Squarepusher, Aphex Twin, just to name a few.

OIL feels happy to be part of the lively and often nutty swedish nightmusic
scene where he feels very comfortable and which inspired him a lot.
He digs sounds that makes you think of scratching, beat-juggling and other turntable-tricks.
His own BPM ranges from 149-165. OIL had his debut release on Shiva Space Technology
in the very end of 2006, and Sonic Tantra in 2007, and a lot is comming up 2008.

Nagmanda (Jan Haas) Germany

Nagmanda is Jan Haas from Freiburg (a little town in the heart of the black forest).
After trippin throu many music genres he discovered psytrance arround 2000.
Also arround that time he got his first turntables and started to mix what he like.
With friends together they organised partys where he had the chance to play for an crowd.
Since then he is constantly booked for local partys in his area and from time to time at other
partys in swiss, france and the netherlands.
If you go to an party where he is playing you can be sure to hear cutting edge nightime psytrance from him.
Actually he started to produce his own creations and he is responsible for the fuzzy logic parties
that will happen monthly this 2006 winter season arround freiburg.
In real life he is on his way to become a graphic designer.

KIWA ( Matti Elsinen , Markku Louhio ) Finland

Sometime around the mid 90's two school mates, Markku Louhio and Matti Elsinen,
inspired by early techno, acid house and Prodigy, got their hands on the Fastracker program.
Creating hardcore techno and experimental dance music changed radically for these guys
when they discovered Goa trance. Soon their hobby of making music only with the
computer evolved to a home studio set-up of MIDI instruments, mixers and drum machines.

Even though their history as producers was rooted in the Goa trance scene, performing
in underground forest parties and listening to bands like Koxbox and Eat Static, they were
soon to widen their scope of music.

The music of Kiwa escapes genre labels and has been said to have a unique sound of it's own.
Their debut album Dreamtime Enhancer in 2002, according to many critics, was acclaimed
to be a milestone in the scene due to it's style-blending approach on electronic music.

Since 2002 Kiwa has toured on live and DJ gigs around the world from Brazil to Israel and
from Russia to Western Europe. Kiwa's live setup consists of two synchronized laptops,
keyboards and loads of samples and audio channels by which they build their energetic
performances on. DJ/Producer Kris Kylven, with a strong history in bands like Killing Joke
, Juno Reactor, UX, The 69 Eyes and many more has been flavouring their
performances as a live drummer in the past. Kylven and Louhio also started to produce
tracks together in 1999 as an industrial and ethno influenced trance project, the Faithealers.

Elsinen and Louhio have worked with many different projects in genres ranging from
hip hop to rock, including compositions and sound production for the Finnish television.
Aside from Kiwa, Markku Louhio produces the breakbeat influenced band Headphonics
and the progressive trance act Highpersonic Whomen with Tommi Sirkia, known from Haltya.
Louhio also performs as a DJ under the name of DJ Make Matic.

Crystal Cris ( Jarmo Snellman ) Finland
Wider Visions



Crystal Cris (Jarmo Snellman) is 24-year-old promoter/producer/sound technician from southern part of Finland. His interest towards electronic music began in the mid 90's.

After playing piano for several years Cris was fed up playing only one instument at a time
and he also wanted to make his own music. These first productions were made with tracker
software and the project name was "AstroSonic".

Since those early years Crystal Cris has made leaps of progress in his journey of screwing,
twisting and tuning audio into new dimensions. Piano has changed to synthesizers
and tracker programs were updated to more sophisticated multitracking tools.

His sound could be described as a combination of groovy fat basslines, groovedelic beats,
jamming melody lines and a touch of finnish forest flavour.. The overall style floats
seamlessly from progressive, yet psychedelic trance to more deep twisted realm with freaky FX and rolling basslines.

In 2002 Cris and his two friends established a record company called Liquid Revolution Records.
Having nice amount of gear in a nice studio room was a dream come true to this young revolutionist.
Two years later Cris hooked up with two guys from Pelto Records and Wider Visions Ry was founded.

Despite his young age Crystal Cris has been busy with many projects in the finnish psy-scene.
Last couple of years he has practically spent all his time and resources for organising psy-trance
parties with the rest of the Wider Visions crew. Many interesting acts have visited Finland
for the first time during this period, such as Cosmosis, S.U.N. Project, Grapes of Wrath,
Ocelot, Electrypnose, Jahbo, Filteria, etc.

FLOWERS OF LIFE



Veikko Lappainen, the founder of Flowers Of Life made his first fluoro paintings in beginning of 2000 ....
First decos was brought under public eyes in Wider Visions Liquid Fields event 2004.
After that things has gone out of hands and new decoration has been painted in daily basis...
Old decoration workshop in Espoo grow too big and needed to move..
old workshop is now working as Wider Visions Ry head office....
Nowdays Flowers Of Life conisist of three people: Veikko Lappainen, Nicholas Vollar and Antti Vestola.
Flowers of Life creates whole new wolrds with full 3D fluoro decoration.
With the decorations Flowers of life aims to create goo spirit among party people...
In past years flowers of life has decorated all Wider Visions events....
Next summer Flowers of Life Deco can be seen combined with Hailinen laser installation at least in Boom Festival, Portugal

HAILISEN LASSE



Hailisen Lasse Productions consist two persons Hailisen Lasse( Henry Geitel ) and Heikki Hirvonen.
Hailinen started to work with light in beginning of this millenium.
It all begin in illegal forest partys near Helsinki with only few black light and strobes…
First Laser shows was created with Heikki Hirvonen in year 2003.
After first experience´s with laser, the true inspiration to create whole world´s with light and laser begun.
Hailinen joined Wider Visions RY year 2004 and started to organize and design Wider Visions events.

Since that Hailinen has worked full time with light and laser equipment and developed his own style of laser projection.
Past few years has brought laser technique to new level , giving unlimited possibilities for installing
and designing laser in way tha is has nevor never done before.

Hailinen and Flowers of Life is nowdays combining deco and laser graphics in unique way to create 3D holographic images above the dance floor…..
Hailinen has designed light´s for such artistis as Cosmosis, S.U.N Project, Electypnose, CPC, Derango, Kiwa, Electic Univers, Ocelot.. and many others.
