MARCUS INTALEX ( SOUL:R, METALHEADZ )
Both as an artist and a DJ, Marcus Intalex represents the forefront of soulful musical drum and bass. From the seminal How You Make Me Feel (alongside studio partner ST Files as MIST), to this years Eleventh Hour LP (together with Calibre and ST Files as Mist:ical), his productions are renowned for pushing boundaries whilst retaining broad appeal. Marcus dj sets follow suit and, in carrying the same energy and passion as his music, identify him as a tastemaker and leader in the scene. His versatile style, combined with excellent mixing skills, make Marcus Intalex one of the most in-demand DJs on the circuit and his reputation for breaking new quality music, without compromising the dancefloor, only continues to grow.
BLU MAR TEN ( HOSPITAL, RENEGADE HARDWARE, UK)
Blu Mar Ten is made up of founding members Leo Wyndham and Chris Marigold, with new addition Michael Tognarelli.After meeting through a mutual friend in 1995 and both having a musical past, Chris & Leo clicked immediately and started to write music. Leo had written around 200 hardcore and house tunes over the previous few years, while Chris had been DJ-ing on pirate radio and at raves. The first track to be released was The Fountain / Lunar in Feb 1997 on the now defunct Way Out Records. .Blu Mar Ten were also offered a long-term deal by LTJ Bukem's Good Looking Records, which was eagerly taken up. This partnership saw a long chain of releases on the label including features on the Logical Progression, Earth and Progression Sessions LPs, tracks on Good Lookings partner labels and a dedicated artist EP and Blu Mar Ten artist compilation LP.
PHYSICS (MIDNIGHT SUN RECORDINGS, METALHEADZ)
Physics is the production moniker for drum&bass producer/DJ and label owner Glenn Grip currently recording for Labels such as Metalheadz, Blindside, Fokuz, Jerona Fruits,Jerona Dubs, Phuzion, Phuturistic Bluez, Planet Funk and Pivotal Entertainment music, Vibez Recordings and Sòle Recordings. He also runs Finland based label Midnight Sun Recordings and brand new Urban Assault . He started producing late 90`s and it didn`t take long before his music was snapped up by international labels. Physics music has been supported by international DJ:s such as LTJ Bukem, Goldie, Nookie, Marcus Intalex, Marky&XRS, D-Bridge, Bryan Gee, Makotoand many more. Being a busy DJ aswell , Djing work have taken him to countries like Czech Rep, Sweden, Romania, Denmark, Russia, UK, Austria, Estonia to name but a few, playing the sounds of the Midnight Sun.
KALEB (MIDNIGHT SUN RECORDINGS, DEFUNKED)
Kalle Wahlberg a.k.a. Kaleb is a producer/dj/saxophone player from Helsinki, Finland. Kaleb first experienced the sounds of drum n' bass in 1996. A friend of his played him a mixtape by a local DJ and made him an avid fan of the genre. 2003 saw Kaleb's first release on New York based label Phuturistic Bluez. Around the same time fellow dnb producer Champagne asked Kaleb and Physics to join him in starting a record label. After some planning and work, Midnight Sun Recordings launched. In the following years Kaleb has had his tunes released on UK based labels (Defunked, Invader, Blindside, German label BluSaphir, Finnish breaks label Exogenic Breaks and of course Midnight Sun. Kaleb's records have been in the bags of a number of well-known DJs including Bailey, Bryan G, LTJ bukem, Flight, Muffler, Cls&Wax, Unknown Error, Dieselboy etc
