Physics&S.P.Y Presents : Urban Assault Recordings
Urban Assault is a new label brought to you by Physics and DJ SPY. Physics is 25 year old Glenn Grip residing in Helsinki, Finland, and one of the first international pioneers of drum&bass there. Already running Midnight Sun Recordings and with releases under his belt on Metalheadz, Fokuz, Planet Funk, Jerona Fruits, Midnight Sun etc he is ready for new challenges! Hailing from Sao Paulo, Brazil's capital of D&B, SPY comes from the same beats classroom as Marky, Patife and Drumagik. Whilst studying and working in graphic design it was Hospitals very own Zac Vibes who booked him for his 1st night in London, at Camden's Lock 17 (Dingwalls). New to D&B and creating tunes influenced by technos Dave Clarke and more recently Hospital's own Cambridge 4 anthem When Pilots Eject it only took Carlos 6 months as a producer before Goldie got on the phone and snapped up his first release for the Metalheadz imprint! Urban Assault is the result of these two lads same taste in deep beats and rollin basslines so watch out!!
