RASMUS HEDLUND (IRON BOX MUSIC, X-RUST)
Nearly 10 years of producing has taken Rasmus Hedlund up to a completely new level in music and to the biggest electronic music events in Finland. Previously known for a strictly hardware-based liveact called Technical Directors, Rasmus nowadays mainly concentrates on his solo project. The 12" solo-debut EP Pacific was released in 2005 on Iron Box Music. Both the first release and live performances have received amazing feedback and shown what there really is to expect from this hot finnish talent in the near future. Lately Rasmus has been working on new tracks and has already gotten recognition from all over the globe. Rasmus` sound has been compared to artists such as Claro Intelecto and Basic Channel and tonight Rasmus will be performing his latest creations in deep and dubby techno with a liveset specially designed for Kartio clubnight at mBar.

J.Kusti`s dj career began in late 2001 when he got the chance to practice his djing skills playing records every sunday at a local bar, Mbar, in Helsinki. It was the only way to develop his technical skills since he didn´t have any turntables of his own and after a while he started getting recognition from local djs who then started booking J.Kusti for gigs at local bars and clubs to play quality music for the dancefloors. After a year or so he was then offered a residency at Mbar and he took over Mbar´s bookings and musical direction. His musical style began to slowly shift from chilled out house to more deeper and techier sounds as he took inspiration from his dj-collegues and foreign underground superstars. Today J.Kusti`s sound can be described as deep and techy combining Berlin and Detroit sounds with a minimal twist. As well as having a residency at Kartio Club in Mbar and starting a new residency in Helsinki`s Rose Garden, he can be spotted playing across the country. J.Kusti also hosts a bi-weekly radioshow on Sundays at Bassoradio 102.8Mhz 18-20 EET.
