ROBERTO RODRIGUEZ MOONRAKER SERENADE E.P. (LAKA)
Hi, my name is Laka and I come from the east. Because of some odd reasons, I
had to leave my country Russia, heading for a new target here in Hype
Germany. Roman, one of my former homies, told me to buy a football club for
having fun. But after hours of Weissbier and Nürnberger Rostbratwürschtl
with Uli, I was so drooped .that I suddenly decided to enter the Electronic
Music Scene to start a recordlabel. I think, being the boss of a label makes
fun and smells like clubs, dancing and girls.
Consequentially, the lable is called Laka like me. I am selfish, I use
drugs (only hiqh quality, sure thing), I like to read lifestyle magazines
and once in a year I go clubbing to the Island. So, the decision was clear
to use my name for the company. First me, second the others.
Anyway, I bought music (some strange and stupid haircutted people from the
scene told me to use the phrase I signed a track, but I just buy things !)
and I will release it now. People also told me that the music I like is
called Minimal-/ Tech-House with a NuTrance touch, but I don´t give a shit
on this. I just like it.
The producer of this release is called Roberto Rodriguez, the Frank
Lampard of my Laka. A1 is called Moonraker, an atmospheric groover with
a driving bassline and some nice filtered strings. B1 is a wonderful &
minimal Remix by Phonique. Last but not least Serenade on B2 is my
romantic favourite for the spring 2007 and soo catchy.
