IMO toi Blake Jarrellin bootleggi on ylihypetetty, white vinyylin arvoinen toki. Mut Luke Terryn remiksi toimii mulle paremmin Chasing Carsista.

Well!!! Superb work Anssi!

The Blake Jarrell & Topher Jones mix of "Chasing Cars" had my attention all of late last summer! Armin Van Buuren / Gabriel & Dresden being huge suporters of that! It was a great tune and still is! But, your mix of "Open Your Eyes" is superb too.

I am currently back in UK now and have fed the vibes of this tune to my mates here. ALL love it!! EVERYWHERE you damn walk here, it's "Snow Patrol" This... "Snow Patrol" that... Obsessed!!! They even have posters of the band selling a new Noodle sauce in a local supermarket WTF?

I span "Open Your Eyes" last tune at Liquid Crystal. Loads of smiles. Good response from a small intimate crowd. I can only see this re-work doing well. And especially amongst UK DJ's! I heard the original of the tune yesterday, but (maybe cos I am a Electronic music lover) i found it too slow and drab... Had to flick on your Allende mix to bannish the memory :)

Keep it up... Another belter....

Mä oon samaa mieltä. Täysin yliarvostettu biisi.
Tää kotkan miehen remix on hieno veto ja supportia tulee täältä suunnalta, niinku top-listoistakin varmaan jo huomaan.

Sitä meinasinkin, toi komppi (muuta ei juuri kuulu) ei kuulosta tolta sun versiolta. Törmäsin tohon kun etsin mitä Tiesto soittaa nykyään, ja noilla tieston tracklist-foorumeilla jokaisessa bileessä toi Open Your Eyes tunnistettiin sun versioksi :o

Aye. Imo the best track is "set the fire to the third bar", then "make this go on forever" and "finish line". It has to be _really_ special and emotional mix that brings something new there if I ever want to hear those (in case someone decides to make one)..the original ones are just so beautiful :)

niin en mä siitä tiedä. toi redankan versio on hieman vanhempi. olen mä tuon munkin version tiestolle antanu. itseasiassa toi klippi nyt ei hirveesti kuulosta edes tolta redanka versiolta koska se oli mun muistaakseni vieläkin chillimpi kun tuo mun versio.

Siinä ois pari lisää, laatu ei tosiaan päätä huimaa :p

I agree that some tunes should NOT be remixed into Electronic "Club" formats. It does ruin them... Best left alone. Coldplay are a great example. A few of there major tunes were remixed well, yet people didn't know when to stop! Just kept remixing and remixing!!! Argggh! Ended up utter shite!
But at least a few true classics were left untouched!

I grew up in the Britpop years in England (1996-1998) so had my ears subjected to years of Indie bands wherever i walked. Tens of them... (Oasis, Blur, Pulp, Symposium, Supergrass etc etc... you know them) pummeled out on radio stations day by day! So even though Snow Patrol and Coldplay are in a league of their own (and shouldn't be compared to the past) I tend to avoid listening so much to originals. Thats why i feel i listen more to the "Good" club mixes at home :)

I look forward to more of your remixes of music in the future :) What a tune!
