Last years independence party was a success with DJ Orkidea headlining so we decided to organize a similar party this year also. To celebrate our independence we have invited DJ Tab to play his long set for all you partymaniacs out there. DJ Tab is the resident DJ of well known Hallmark- and Illusions-clubs in Helsinki. His DJ:ing can be described with words 'progressive and melodic trance', his energetic deejaying, stage charisma and performing is something special this far north. DJ Tab will be warmed up by FED ry:s resident deejays Soppa & Redjack and Max Dee, quality trance music from the beginning to the end. Welcome to the ClubZone-experience!

Janne Mansnerus, aka DJ Tab, began his DJ-ing career in 1992 and has gradually evolved his style into what he now describes as "progressive and melodic trance". Tab holds residencies at two of Helsinki's biggest club nights: Illusions and Hallmark, where he is responsible for the club's music direction. He also hosts a monthly radio show called 'AR52 Pres. HelsinkiVibes' on ETN.fm.
Since 1999, Tab has applied his understanding of dancefloor mechanics to music production, and has already collaborated successfully with Miika Kuisma as AR52 on John OO Flemings Joof imprint. AR52's first single "TimeGate / Hibernation" received massive support from the top DJ's and was featured on most major trance compilations (including Gatecrasher and Godskitchen). The follow-up "Enigma / Air Traffic" was equally successful. "Enigma"entered the official UK Dance Singles Chart at number #14 and went up to number #18 on the Dutch club charts.
The Verso E.P. on Anjunabeats represents his first solo release, with the peak-timer, Verso, neatly complimented by the brooding set-builder, Radiate. Both tracks have enjoyed massive support from the trance elite, including Lange, Pulser, Matt Hardwick, Above & Beyond and Armin Van Buuren. Verso E.P. was two weeks on the official UK Dance Singles Chart.
Super8 & Tabs 'Helsinki Scorchin' is arguably the biggest instrumental trancer of the year so far its not often you get a 1000+ crowd singing along to an instrumental but thats exactly what happened at the recent Anjuna night in London! and has featured on 15 compilations to date, including the latest from Tiesto, Above & Beyond and Armin.
The follow-up, 'Wont Sleep Tonight' threatens to be just as good, with Global Undergrounds Ben Lost drafted in to provide a druggy and Underworldesque vocal backdrop to the dirty and driving groove. Before these two monsters and debut collaboration 'First Aid', Super8 & Tab had been building the kind of production CV that will soon see them being mentioned in the same breath as the likes of Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk and Above & Beyond at the pinnacle of the trance scene.
