British University & Collega Union, ja mahdollisesti myös UNISON (virkamiesten AY-liike) ovat alottamassa boikottia Israelia vastaan. En usko, että mikään muu maa reagoisi boikotoitiinsa näin:
A group of MKs [member's of Knesset] from at least five major political parties in Israel have begun to promote expedited legislation and other measures to punish the UK in the event that the boycott of Israel being threatened by the British University and College Union is put into practice. MK Otniel Schneller, from the governing Kadima party, is described as the mastermind of the British-boycott initiative, which involves, among other measures, legislation to mark all UK-made products as such and efforts to diminish Israeli tourism to the UK. Schneller reportedly has asked the various Knesset committees to expedite the preparatory work on his bill so as to allow it to be introduced to the Knesset for its preliminary reading as early as next week.

The search came up with nothing. No member of the staff offered an apology
