i would add that vinyl mixes are somewhat limited to the type of 'sound' you can put out. needs a lot of work and money to get a great, up to date, vinyl mix. Cant wait to hear the longer cd mixes roll out :)



True... Vinyl costs a fortune! 8-10 a record... opposed to a 1 or 1.50 for a Digital download. If your not on a "Proper" Vinyl promo list from a decent distributor then the expenses rise to get the latest 12"'s!

The next mix I'm working on has a wider degree of different artists. But, then again, there is no right or wrong sound. A DJ plays what he/she wants. However, as long their audience appreciates the mix there is never a problem.

Hi there...

It was interesting to see your perspective on my mix. Thanks. All comments are always welcome. We all have an opinion...

However, to tarnish my whole DJ "sound" with ASOT Armin weekly show is a little far fetched. Sure, that mix is Schulz/Tiesto/Armin influenced but is meant to be a mix of classics too... I think that ones preconceptions on a DJ's style are somewhat hazed when one "Categorises" a persons style from just "one single mix". As we say, don't bite more than you can chew. See what else you hear from a particular DJ before categorising or suggesting to him/her that they should go out and "get their own sound".



Obviously I was commenting on this mix alone, not your entire discography.

Always best to make your point clearer though... and maybe be a little 'softer' with your English... the way it was worded implied me to go out and find my own style. :)
