In 1999 Mr Velcro Fastener - Tatu Metsätähti & Tatu Peltonen - released their first album. It was a masterpiece of modern electro, and Djs, press and fans overwhelmed the group with compliments. Ever since Finlands most original electro-duo has kept evolving their idea of unifying nordic underground with the warmth of homelistening electronica. When their next EP was hyped even more it was clear that Mr Velcro Fastener was here to stay. On the new album, Telemacho, the Velcro guys go further in expressing their idea of electro-techno by mashing up the sounds & ideas of previous albums to the new telemachian totality. MORE

The sound of SYSM is a combination of minimalistic house grooves and emotional, high fidelity electronic soundscapes. It's easy to recognize a StarYou track -fat retro disco drums beating on top of the crispiest and widest synths sounds. Their past releases include Sweet Things (Moodmusic Germany), and A Place My In Heart feat. Erlend Øye (Kickin Music UK) and their music has gained praises from names like Darshan Jesrani of Metro Area, Ian Pooley and Satoshi Tomiie. MORE
