The Captain has been known to end up at many a party across the globe while off duty. His favourites include many of the Psy Trance Parties & Festivals. He has always been a follower of the sound and has collected 100s of pieces of music across the years.
The time for him has come to go another step further in his career across the globe, in an area he knows so well and loves. He's staying as a Captain in this area, and due to him playing the harder edge of the psychedelic sound he's been named... DJ Captain Psy-co-Path... His party antics definitely fit the name don't you think!!!
At his last DJ performance it was hard to keep him behind the DJ box. He seemed to be partying out front just as much as everyone else. A true Psycopath!
How does he achieve this we ask? Well thanks to the Captain's knowledge of cutting edge technology, he has fully mastered Native Instruments, 'Traktor DJ Studio Pro....' Along with his programmed Hercules Traktor DJ Studio controller linked up to his live keyboard and synced to Ableton Live 5. Anything is possible. If the tracks not up to it, you'll find some extra synths and loops hooked in for good measure.
This mix represents 80 mins of the Captain's favourite uplifting and funky numbers ranging across Astrix, Dynamix, Psysex, Space Tribe, Dino Psaras and Wizzy Noise to name a few... A full on DJ mix at a party from our Psy-co-path Skipper would surely take you deeper into the clutches of the loony psychedelic hospitals. As we have only 80 mins on a CD mix, he's decided to take you on a journey to prepare you for such a night out or.... As we've found it at its best... A 1hr & 20 min drive to London from the beach!
