The DJ2000 is the first professional DJ mixer with 4 channels from Roland. The mixer contains everything for the dj and live acts.
Best attribute: Effects processing, very strong capabilities.
Effects
DJ2000 Effects -
Delay / Flanger / Overdrive + Delay
/ Overdrive + Flanger / Auto Pan / Filter / Robot / Voice Transformer / Slicer / Jao.
The effects are positioned at the top right of the Mixer in a section ro land labels DSP.
The effects section has 5 Pads containing the 10 effects,
and 3 range knobs to change rate/cutoff,
pitch/depth and formant/resolution. This mixer also contains an effect balance knob,
for greater control over the volume of the effect.
Well these two mixers are quite comparable in effects,
but the DJ2000 effects are not only easier to use but more powerful.
On the djm mixer the effects are assigned by use of a knob.
This in a dark enviroment can become quite a hassle and the settings give more of quick
result rather than building the sound manually,
while with the DJ2000 the buttons light up making it an easy and effective tool.
