sensed its wholeness and wideness are way beyond the

Proteus
(Säde, Logic UK Helsinki)
Proteus has well-earned his place as the best Finnish dj
playing harder music genres. His unique style is not easily
imitated and his furious stage charisma has convinced
people not only in Finland but also in Great Britain. Proteus
plays regularily at the Club Logic in the UK and alongside
that also promotes his monthly Säde club-night in Helsinki.
He has been playing almost in every mayor event in Finland
including Koneisto, Labyrinth etc. and proven his ability to
renew his style and give the audience everytime something
totally new. The number one DJ of hard trance and hard-nrg
visits Rovaniemi and Northern Finland for the first time in
D3 make sure to witness this!
Kim
(Miau!, Pussy Tampere)
During his 9 years of deejaying Kim has played in right
about all major cities & clubs in Finland and still continues
going on. In terms of musical styles Kim concentrates in the
more uplifting territory of the progressive-house sound and
the more underground sounding trance, but also blends in a
lot of breakbeat and technoish stuff. It's all about a track
being good and beautiful, not the genre. His favourite
Producers are Hybrid, James Holden and Way Out West.
Since 2001 Kim has also been one of the two resident dj's of
one of Finland's biggest clubs, Pussy, which attracts a crowd
of about 1000 people every month. Kim's also been
promoting his own monthly club called Miau! for about 5
years. After a half of a decade of excellent nights with an
undescribable atmosphere Miau! is still one of the best
known clubs in Finland.

Benn

Benn began his career as a dj in his late-teens, playing
groovy, feral techno in underground parties in Tampere and
around Finland. His career has lately progressed to include
also gigs abroad for example in Stuttgart, Germany and
Tallinn, Estonia. The techno styles that can be heard on
Benn's pumping dj-mixes vary from slamming drumtrax and
groovy tribal techno to Italian big room techno. In D3 Benn
will play a special set with three decks blending the styles
and grooves in a smooth, unique way.

downtempo, disco, house and progressive tunes and make
sure you can enjoy the rhythms both by chilling or dancing.
B.Miles is a promoter and a dj who has given his
influence both on the Kokkolas and Raahes house scene.
His wide selection will climb from chilly downtempo tracks to
more deeper quality house to keep you warm already from
the beginning of the night. As B.Miles, also Kaasi has
been spinning records over a half of a decade. Moving over
the musical genre lines Kaasi unites breakbeat, electro and
more tech-related sound to his house-sets to keep them
interesting and full of positive energy. His gig schedule has
kept him busy playing even beyond the borders of Finland.
Alongside Kaasi has also Fuse brought his sound to
Russia. Describing John Digweed and Steve Lawler as his
inspirers Fuse has really followed their example by
developing his skills amazingly precise when its about
technique. Fuse puts his sets together from house,
progressive and breakbeatmaterial and definitely leaves no
one cold. This triplet presents a legendary, fashionable 6-
hour journey through the versatile forms of house music.

D 3 - V I S U A L S
The showy visual wholeness of the videoscreen in D3 is
produced by Kyperjokki, an Oulu based group, which is
specialized in visual technologies. The group has done VJ
gigs in concerts and parties, especially in Time Tunnel and
are holding a residency at the monthly club night b-eat-z in
Oulu. The setup consists of several video sources, including
real-time processed live picture from a camera, with both
recorded and synthesized 2&3D material that is selected and
controlled to fit the music.
