Yes, like in Berlin. 10 000 police needed to control the crowd, 65 people arrested when setting cars on fire and so on... :) IMHO better to be drunk and do stupid things than be sober and do stupid things. Hooray for fighting against globalism!
Jotenkin suomalaista wappua kuvaa se, että makasiinien alueella samanaikaisesti katsotaan lätkää ja vedetään lärvit, kuunnellaan eläkeläisiä täysin lärvit ja tanssahdellaan trancen tahtiin melko lärvit. :)
Ja itse bileistä, Leaman hypnoottisen loistava setti tuli kyllä aivan täysin puuntakaa. Ja illan kruunasi toki selektiollaan Solarstonen edustaja (joka näytti kauempaa aivan Tresiltä ;) ), DJ taidot eivät ehkä olleet huipussaan, mutta biisit loistivat senkin ohi. Oli mukava lähteä potemaan flunssaa kotiin, kun autolle kävellessä kuuluu seven cities. Yhtiömme kiittää, seuraavaa kertaa odotellessa.

Welcome to Finland. Maybe you should get to known us finns little bit better and our history and relationship with alcohol before you start to make such demands. But the claim that on the national holidays and celebrations finns are the only nation in the world, who get wasted and all the others just "consider the world economy and the national trade and employment issues" as you put is just plain bullshit. Maybe you weren´t out today hearing politicians traditional speeches and seeing people march, so it´s not only drinking. But those who fight at the partys don´t represent the values we share at the club scene in Finland. You must understand that every once and a while people who are not so keen at techno culture attend those partys and sometimes they are ones, that don´t give a flying fuck about so called "rules" about how to behave at the club and how to respect other people.

Considering the options, I prefer to be drunk :)
But there is no much to do, if some hillbillies can't behave on alcohol. It's the same thing with the same people every weekend in Finland, not just Mayday. People like that irritate me as much as you are irritated by their behaviour.

I never said just Finns, I said you in Noth Europe, that includes at least the Swedes as well, where the drinking habit came from if the stories I've been told are correct. Considering world trade issues and so on is more a figure of speach. I've been in many places in Central Europe, and I've yet to see any celebration (with the exeption of the high holidays like NYE, that people get to drunk to behave civilised. There might be some rough language, and arguments where people just keep reïterating the same opposit points in louder and louder voices. I have yet to see it come to blows. Then again, I've alwys preffered to go to more relaxed, less "physical" parties in Central Europe.
Still, aren't selfcontrol and selfawareness the major things that elevate us from animals?

Luckily I find that there are some amongst us on klubi that still feel like parties should be as they "traditionally" were. A lot of people, a good feelis and most importantly
Peace, Love, Understanding.. and here's a very big important one.. Respect. Both for yourself and for the others. We're all stuck in the same partyhall for a "long" time. Let's just have a bit of control and that way make sure everyone has a good time? Or is that just my deluded daydream?

Joo, tämä oli ehdottomasti paras paikka viettää vappua. Rankkaan nämä bileet parhaaksi missä olen ollut. Ekaa kertaa makasiineilla, tilana toimiva. Itsellä putosi koko illan tarjonta ihan hyvin. Iso kiitos järjestäjille. Kerrassaan mahtava tunnelma koko ajan. Kyllä kannatti kotikyliltä tänne asti raahautua...

Oli kyllä kivat vappukinkerit! Kansaa oli mukavasti ja fiilis hyvä. Orkidean setti jäi valitettavasti kuulematta. Leama veti oikein kivaa rullaavaa soundia ja Solarstone nostatti käsiä ilmaan legendaarisen ja tuoreen kiksun sekoituksella. Kuten jo monet ovat edellä maininneet, myöskään mulle ei Scott Bond tippunu. Ihmeelliset tasojen heittelyt ja keskinkertaiset vaihdot yhdistettynä tasapaksuun tranceen ajoi allekirjoittaneen lopulta unille jo ennen valomerkkiä.

Jos itse olisin ollut järjestäjänä niin olisin ystävällisesti pyytänyt miestä dekkien takaa pois vedoten hänen huonoon tilaansa ja antanut vaikka Orkidean soittaa uusinta keikan, kun suurin osa ihmisistä kuitenkin hänet missasi. Tälläisten "starojen" kanssa moinen käytäntö on varmaan melko mahdoton, mutta epäilen että olisin silti ensimmäinen ihminen joka näin olisi tehnyt jollekkin isolle nimelle.
