THE ORB - “You’ve been Orbed if you’re sitting in a room and you get up to
look out the window and you suddenly realise that it was coming from the
record” -Dr. Alex Paterson.

Best known for their spaced out sequences, ethereal atmospherics and
unforgettable chill-out anthems such as “Little Fluffy Clouds”, The Orb’s
mellow listening grooves have already soothed our lives for fifteen years.
The band eventually grew from the late 80s DJ sessions by Dr. Alex
Paterson and Jimmy Cauty (who later found chart success with The KLF) at
the VIP room of Paul Oakenfold’s legendary London acid house club
Spectrum. The experiments in horizontal humming and abstract ambience have
continued up until now – and at some point along the way The Orb suddenly
turned out to be the ultimate chill-out band.

Lately The Orb parted company with Island Records but that hasn\'t stopped
Alex recording a new album for 2003. The Orb’s 7th album, \'Bicycles &
Tricycles\' will be released in September in Europe. Alex worked on the
forthcoming album with old time spars Thomas Fehlmann, Simon Phillips,
John Roome and Jimmy Cauty amongst other familiar faces. Other current
projects include Mad Professor mixing up some Orb tracks and The Orb
mixing up Mad Professor tracks to be released on one orbsome album. On the
pipeline is also an All Back To Mine DJ compilation by Alex, who travels
constantly spreading his chilled out vibe to happy ears all around the
globe.

MC HOSNI - A vocalist, producer, singer, songwriter. Born in Maroc in the
70\'s, raised in the bosom of the world, last seen at large around various
areas of Helsinki, England , France and Switzerland.

Underground influences dating before the acid house boom, Hosni has been
featured and has been collaborating with artists such as Cool Sheiks, Fat
Beat Sound System, Brothomstates, Whatnot, Transparents, Damn The Band,
Giant Robot, Montana Roja Rhythm Section and Ninja Force Sound System,
just to name a few.

Hosni is an MC who has no need for a supporting female vocalist for the
varieties of scales and flavours, which keeps him with a special
originality of touch, from oriental to french suburban hardcore rap. He
begun his career in London, Camden town, appearing on mixtapes. Festivals
around Scandinavia came after, where he showed his skills on countless
live performances. To sum it up, an act not to miss.
