FLECK
FLeCK is an electronic music producer and Dj, signed on Serial Killaz Recordings and member of Kings Hi Fi soundsystem. Born in Athens,Greece, started his music journey in the early 90s with producing breakbeat and jungle music, passing through dub and hip hop. His first official release goes back in 1999, a 12” singled called “Cryogenics” released on Evil Recordings, which had a great review from the famous UK music magazine Knowledge. In 2009 published his debut album “Dub Muse” and since then, he has released his music on various record labels around the world such as Six Degrees records, ODG, Chopstick Dubplate, Scotch Bonnet, Liondub International, Lion’s Den, Bracket records, King Dubbist, Generation Bass, Reggae Roast and counts over 40 releases in the past four years. FLeCK’s music, is characterized by a roots reggae dub vibe mixed with futuristic
jungle breaks and fat bass sounds. It has found its way into the record boxes of the likes Public Enemy’s DJ Lord, Rusko and many others as well featuring on Diplo’s Mad Decent
blog and receiving massive worldwide radio support from London’s legendary Kool Fm to BBC 1Xtra. Some of his tunes reached the first position in the TID Top100 charts.
He has collaborated ,written and remixed tunes for artists like Zion Train, Mungo’s HiFi, Chopstick Dubplate, Soom T, Nanci Correia, Clinton Sly, Ancient Astronauts, Fitta Warri, King Bracket, I-lodica, Jonas McCloud, Bay B Kane, Roommate, Demolition man, Beam Up, Se Fire, Blue Hill, Sisyphos , Parly B, Ed West,Tenja and many others. The last years he has been part of gigs and festivals in many places around Europe like
Austria, UK, Spain, Netherlands, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Poland, Greece and has shared the stage with names like Horace Andy, Alborosie, Congo Natty, Zion Train, Dub Pistols,
Mungo’s Hi Fi, stand High Patrol, Prince Fatty and many others.
In 2015 he has been nominated as Best Breakthrough Producer in the Jungle Awards held by We Love Jungle.
KANDIDAATTI
Reggae artist Kandidaatti is originally from Jyväskylä and
nowadays works in Helsinki. His style is modern lovers reggae. Kandidaatti familiarized with reggae music more widely in the early 2000s, while playing the trumpet in bands like Acid Root Sound System and Laulurastas. He started to sing the stems with Puppa J and was later mc @ Lahti Savusound. His style as a singer began to form towards lovers reggae, one drop and dancehall. Lyrics spring from the small and big things of everyday life. For him, music is a way to relax and let go of the hectic pace.
MAKSIMI VOIMA
Max Power is Master of ceremony with a broad variety of styles, since 1999. Household name to Finnish rap-scene, affiliated with such groups as Oppositio, TuliTukiRyhmä, YouShouldKnowByNow and Veterans Of Awesomeness
DJ CEEJAY
Ceejay is a dj from Helsinki, Finland. Representing for the younger generation of Scandinavian dancehall and reggae dj's, Ceejay is rapidly becoming one of the best known acts from Finland in his genre. Ceejay’s style of play connect the Jamaican classics to the latest crazes in reggae and dancehall. Beyond Jamaican music you can also hear segments of hiphop, r&b, afrobeats and reggaeton in Ceejay’s sets. Ceejay has played alongside all of the Finland's top soundsystems and warmed up live acts like Spice (Jam), Chronixx (Jam), Luciano (Jam), Peetah Morgan (Jam), J Boog (USA), Asap Ferg (USA) and Timaya (Nig). During the years Ceejay has performed all around Finland in major night clubs and linked up twice with Anancy Sound in St. Petersburg, Russia. In 2014 and 2016 Ceejay rocked the stage at one of the biggest summer festivals in Finland, Ilosaarirock. In Helsinki Ceejay also runs his own reggae club night called Island Jam Helsinki, located in the legendary local venue Nosturi.
DJ RUMBUS
Started playing vinyl back in 1997 as a jungle DJ in the north of Russia, Karelia, in the hometown Petrozavodsk. Then in 1998 moved to Finland. Was playing at the jungle/dnb events in Petrozavodsk, St. Petersburg, Sortavala,Kostomuksha, Joensuu, Outokumpu, Jyväskylä, Tampere, Savonlinna, Lahti, Helsinki and Stockholm. Preferably playing vinyl records. Different kinds of jungle/ drumandbass from choppage
jungle to brostep/clownstep/jump up and darker dubbish jungle. Location is Espoo, Finland.
DJ BREIK
Started to Burn down Babylon's walls at Punky Reggae Party club in 2002 in Helsinki. Dj Breik presents bass sound with reggae, dubstep and roots ragga-jungle with a bit of psy.
Now as a crew Dj for RIDDIMS, AURA and People Of The Butterflies in Finland.
DJ PAPA CHILLY
Papa Chilly started djing in the late 90's by playing all kinds of music like reggae, triphop, hiphop, dub, dnb and electronic dance music. He’s been actively performing all across Finland
since 2004, and organizing events in his hometown Lahti since 2000. He is also a founding member of the group Savusound. Papa plays a selection of reggae, dub and dubstep, not forgetting ragga jungle, drum & bass and exclusive Savusound dubplates. His sets are versatile and guaranteed to make you move your feet.
JONESY
Jonesy (Joonas) got interested in percussions back in the 2004, when he got his own djembe and lost himself in drum circles. His rhythmical roots lie in traditional music mostly
nyabinghi, african and south-american. He has played at clubs and outdoors since 2006 with artists like Mayd Hubb, Epeak, Raappana & Puppa J. Whole drum culture is very close
to his heart and everytime he meets someone who wants to play, he teaches "play for feet, not for the head."
LUMINUANCE
Luminuance has recently cleared some room for himself in the FOH and is now ready to hit the retinas of the unsuspecting party people. Be the rhythms jungle or reggae your eyes will
be treated with candy that will fullfill your aching soul.
